We just had this for lunch and it was incredible tasty. Hands on time was 15 minutes. Sweet and delicious with the Gorgonzola. Winter recipe to repeat and for the books. Thanks for the inspo.
Growing up and living in Germany, red cabbage is always eaten in the same way, ALWAYS in a „German Dreiteiler“ as I say, which could be translated into „German threesome“ - meat, potatoes and cooked red cabbage cut in very tiny pieces including apple and clove. It’s really yummy, but also boring if you grow up with it (I didn’t really, my parents were from Turkey). This is such an amazing way to surprise my German friends! ❤
Always is a strong word... I've never heard anyone calling out "Dreiteiler" although I can guess what you mean. I've had red cabbage slaw and other dishes too though.
@@philaeew4866, I didn’t say that it is always called a Dreiteiler, I said it is always served in a combination with two other dishes, which I call Dreiteiler. I don’t know any typical German dish with red cabbage, where there this is not the case. But I like to be proven wrong!
This looks amazing! I will give it a try for sure. But I must say, the Gentleman all dressed in white, eating the red cabbage covered in red syrup gives me a bit of anxiety 😅
We're sorry to hear that and would be great to understand what might have gone wrong but 300ml of stock has been used in this recipe as shown in the video.
It's delicious. I tried it two times already, but instead of grapes use uchuvas (Physalis peruviana) from the garden. Also last time I made it in a slow cooker and the juices for the glaze got thick within the cabbage. I forgot the cream last time ,🫢 but didn't miss it, really, equally delicious.
May be tasty, but seems a lot out of time.... foil is no good alternative for a lid ( can't be such a great investment for a professional kitchen) and yes... for this amount of veg 3 hours baking time.... yiu must be kidding
from a sustainable point of view foil is not good at all if something reusable such a lid can be used..... I wish they would be more creative in that direction
Cooking grapes is underappreciated. Looks great.
You guys always make my meatless diet so much more interesting. Many thanks.

This is SO good!!! I was skeptical but so glad I tried it. For me, the blue cheese absolutely makes it. Definitely going into my rotation.
Oh my goodness, I definitely will make this. ❤
Looks delicious!
Paired this with deer steak and grilled potatoes with fresh herbs. It was so good!!
I tried this yeserday, it is soooo good
Lovely!
This is a must try and must eat!!
After watching this, I'm starving!

Don't know why but feels like it could use walnuts
Go for it!
Wow I felt the same! Go for walnuts, I'm going to try this recipe soon :)
More please.
I just want to know one thing: what the hell are you supposed to eat this with?
You can have it with your choice of protein or as part of a veggie spread. Enjoy!
in the recipe you call for 300ml of stock which will make it a soup and not even barely close to what showed in the video. And I wasted a cabbage.

What is the nutritional value of a cabbage that was 3 hours in the oven? 🤮

Do you think that cooking food makes it less nutritious?
foil is the perfect alternative, what do you even mean@@janajde

@@indoorcoyote It's scientific fact, fyi
