i suggest everyone to go into the PLR file and tweak the AI to your liking.. but the most important thing is the change the AI to AI collision rate to 40. this will mitigate them from weaving and changing lanes for no reason.
A well researched and informative film, great stuff! The game was released to replicate the FIA Classic Car series so that is why it only featured modern tracks. But thanks to the mod community many, many tracks, old and new, appeared ever the years. And as stated in the video, many new cars were created too. Now you can recreate a load of old racing series from the 1930's right up to the 1980's. That's a lot of content. And it's the mods that have kept this sim fresh. I predict that AC will outlast RRE simply because of the third party content available. And thanks for mentioning UKGTL in the review.
one thing to note about this game, is that it doesnt really simulate the classic races these cars took place in, this game covered a cup on modern tyres, still a great game but if you want the classic tyre compounds simulated try power and glory 3.2
It's very good and engaging to play (drive). Where you'll find licensed rare retro cars like this game offers? Buy it on a sale or even full price as no one knows how much it will hold on steam! Great review, thanks for your work!
my biggest problem with this game is the tires and the sense of grip, some cars feel like driving on ice.. but when you find certain cars/track combo that works well together, with the great amount of modded content, this sim is very fun and can run on a potato.
@@TurboRacing39im more talking about the tire itself.. going from 100% to 0% grip, how that feels.. the skidding effect, working temperatures etc.. im personally are not a huge fan overall, but i guess its subjective.
@@TurboRacing39 i have been fooling around with the RX7 mod in GTL recently, that does a very well job with grip i think. you can really push it and still tell what the tires are doing.
@@tallesttreeintheforest Not my cup of tee to be fair. :D If you want something really good, but hard to control - try the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa from the LeMans 55 mod. Pure power and almost no grip, but you can slide it perfectly if you have a decent skills and setup.
Hi Turbo I just love your Gt Legends documentary really good info man I could not have done it better my self I will send this to all of the guys to see man we need this game to reach new rights in 2021 and beyond hope that you have a good of Richrad
It's a shame :) Fortunately it's cheap on Steam and for the drivers bought the game before Steam - they can enter the key and activate the game for free.
This kerb thing overturning cars is a problem throughout all ISI games, even the newer ones and it is very irritating in the middle of a race. I agree that it is a downside that was never sorted out, and I am not sure why,
As i mention some negatives in our favorite game, it's gonna be interesting if we will be able to deal with them in the future.
2022 and I'm still playing this great game, love it!
2024 and still going strong!

I have it installed right now! It's great because you can choose a difficulty that is playable even with a keyboard!

It is now possible to recreate the 1959 Le Mans in GT Legeds. I think GTL's gameplay is better than GTr2, even more so with Polinii's physics mod

Yes, I have GTR2 with Power and Glory 3.2 and tonight I am going to stream an online race with it. It will start in about 45 minutes from now.
@@TurboRacing39 nice man, good luck on the track, those cars can be brutal especially at places like monaco
@@TurboRacing39 ill probably toon in when you start too

Most of these cars have less grip naturaly, as they are too heavy and powerful. :)

Thank you buddy. I took my best in the review.
Great video 👍🏻
This game has better engine sounds than some modern games like Forza
I completely lovr it and, as it uses the same physyics engine as rFactor 1, it has hundreds of tracks and cars as mods.
How to set seperate wheel and pedal
what wheel did you used for this review? cheers
For this one I used Logitech Driving Force GT. Then I've upgraded to Logitech G29 a year or two later.
@@TurboRacing39 Ok cool, thx man. so gtl works with g29 wheel?
@@SoundPuzzleProjectYes, and it works pretty good. I believe most of the modern wheel will work with the game as well.
no english subtitle?
Not at the moment.
I'm salty because i threw a copy of that game because key wouldn't install second time and now it is on steam
