Wayne is awesome! I was fortunate enough to have the absolute pleasure of witnessing Wayne set up my Hoyt Ventum 33, 82 lbs draw for me. Was an incredible experience working with Wayne and seeing him put MY bow together for me. Something I’ll never forget! Great pro shop! Shout out to Lisa as well lol!
You know you made it big when you can get in to The Bowrack before opening haha. That place gets crazy busy and then some. Those guys hardly ever get breaks or even eat lunches, some hard working dudes.
not all pro shops are capable. I invested in a press, bow vise and every equipment to setup and tune my own bow. Its not that hard and the tools are a great investment.
I did the exact same thing ! youtube literally has almost everybody made with plenty of people talking about how to tune them. only downside is the 300$+ for JUST the bow press ughh
Love the bow rack! Decided after watching your videos to get into archery hunting but have a bad shoulder. Walked in told them my issues and my budget and they worked wonders for me! I now have a bow that I can shoot that doesn't kill my shoulder! 15 shots in i ended up Robin hooding
First off a big congratulations Trent for your top shooter and LFG and Scott for the hose job you did in Wyoming. I like these equipment shows keep up the good work.
I have an RX 5 ultra at 32” drawl length and absolutely love it. Spott Hogg Hogg father 2 pin, hamskie Trinity pro converted to the hunter. Victory VAP SS 300.
I absolutely love when you guys do this stuff it get me all pumped up. I will be in McCleary Washington in late September I hope to get to stop by and I might just have them give my bow a once over.
I'm lucky to have a shop just like this here in Massachusetts. Mathews did a profile on them, reedys archery and you can just tell there's not many shops like this
I have the same bow for a donkey years now !! Still shoot the same as new ! But I know that people who buying a new iPhone every year those people money have been taken by professional !!’ As long as you want to have each year new bow and will make you happy! Why not !
Finding a bowtech you get along with is great. So when you drop your Mathews out of the tree the day before you're supposed to leave for an elk hunt (asking for a friend?) you can make sure its good to go outside of business hours. The guy at a box store doesn't give a shit about your hunts.
This is what those people don’t understand about buying on eBay or amazon and the big box stores no customer service that’s why we support the pro shop because we are taking the life of a animal clean ethical shot 👍✌🏼🇺🇸
Totally agree! The Bow Rack/BRO collaboration needs to expand to the next level with Wayne getting out there when you guys are trying to fill your NE tags you drew this year! Praying the fires don’t mess up that hunt for you guys…
Dude I dont think I will get rid of my RX1 Ultra any time soon. That thing along with my arrow set up is a killing machine, BUT I still wanted a new bow. After shooting the RX5 Ultra I settled on the Mathews V3 31 which is now my backup bow.
Honest question: Would most reputable shops offer this same level of thoroughness and involvement in bow setup? Or is this going above and beyond most reputable shops?
Not sure but I’m in WA state and the pro shops are mostly kind of Asses. Told them I had a 8-9 hundred dollar budget and they basically told me to get out. Went to 3 different shops. Ended up going to cabelas and they helped me more than anyone else.
That’s why I bought a year old Mathews on eBay (Haylon 32) and just took it to a shop and had them set it up and tune it for me. Saved about 600 bucks.
Most reputable shops do a full setup if you purchase the bow from them, to include paper tuning. Key phrase “reputable shops!” It’s not at all rocket science, I like others on this thread invested in a vice, press, etc etc… the equipment will last forever and I have a wife and 2 boys, we all shoot bows! Well worth the investment. Plus you can really fine tune things such as draw length, most people don’t fit exactly into a 1” or 1/2” setup, I have my bow set at 28 3/4” my wives is 25 1/4” there’s a lot of things you can easily fine tune with a twist in/out of the cables. Super easy to set center shot and paper tune (properly) with top hats or yoke tuning
Yah just wondering on average how much this service would cost. Tried emailing them last year but something must have not worked as never heard back from them
I got myself a Hoyt torrex to give bow season a crack. Strings started fraying at the top cam and the peep after a thousand or so arrows. Deer season has begun and they have my bow back at Hoyt to fix 😭. I'll probably get it back right in time for rifle season 🤦♂️
camera guy, back up a few feet. seemed like you were up close and personal the whole time. The bow rack is the best, they are the only ones allowed to touch my bow.
My lord archery equipment is getting complicated these days with micro-adjust sights, drop away rests, level this, level that. FFS, a solid rest (TM hunter, bodoodle) and 4-pin sight (10/20, 30, 40, 50) with fixed blade broadheads. Easy and simple where nothing can go wrong. Too many moving parts = room for failure. KISS.

That man has a ton of knowledge. Point blank simple our local shops around here in western Maryland say it's a single cam it don't need tuned.👍👍

Helix ultra @ 80lbs
Same bow, same arrows, same rest, but going with the axcel landslide picatinny sight
I call these guys from across the country, always super helpful, can’t find any pro shops like them around our area.
Nice set up. I have the new hamskea rest on my new BOWTECH.
Wayne is the best hunting mind around. No doubt. An even better person!
Nice- just ordered an ultra myself!!!! Can’t wait- congrats!- stay safe

Bow Rack - class act !
I've breen going to the Bow Rack since it first started. Hoping to get back there soon
My favorite shop, Wayne, if you read these, Dori sends her blessings
Was just there today workin out some broadhead tuning bugs, awesome folks
Amazing bow!

LoL 😂! I've been doing my own now for over 43 years! It's not all that complicated 😂.
Love these video’s!! Are y’all going to do gear list videos?

What did you do with with your old bow by chance, I’d buy it if you still have it.
Pro Shops are so hard to find, especially a good one.
I shoot an RX5 ultra @ 32” draw and love it.
Sweet rig, Looks like you can cut at least 4" off of those arrows though.
Yeah our bow shops in New York are a Joke
Great video, and even nicer bow! Is that the new, new Hoyt Wilderness (aka the non textured and slightly different shade of green?)
Trent’s daughter not picking the bow string colors this year? This bow doesn’t have enough pink. Not BRO standard.

Great shop and bad bow draw by the shooter! There is just one wizard in archery and hes name is MFJJ 😁
Have you ever thought about taking The Bow Rack crew on a hunt or tagging along with them on one of their own hunts?
Those guys are straight up killers! They need to take us hunting.
@@bornandraisedoutdoors Wayne is. Not sure about the rest of that bunch haha

Looks like I’m heading to a bow shop.
I need to send my RX-5 out there.

Seeing the blue line and red line flags in the back ground … awesome .. and loved the tech being so thorough

No first lite camo?
Bloodline arrows?
I have had a cord clamp break .
Most bow shops don't go to this detail
What do you guys do with your old bows?
We usually donate them to a charity or give them away to up and coming hunters.
That’s pretty cool of you guys
A new bow? With all new accessories? Every year? WHERE DID I GO WRONG IN LIFE????

Woof... No shops nearby? That's rough
@@JayMac it was the shop that sent it. Hoyt wanted it to check out and fix under warranty. Shouldn't cost me anything, just frustrating.
I know the feeling. I ordered an RX5 about a month ago. Won’t be here till December..
@Anthony Roberts is this a known issue with the Torrex? I have one as well. Did you wax the strings?

"I'm a hoyt lover"
But, Replacement of the strings is key.
To a well tuned bow!
Wayne tells everyone that too. Those stock strings stretch fast.
