Watching this video, the whole time I was imagining the monsters that WILL be slayed by that particular bow in Jared's hands. Best of luck this upcoming season fellas!
Same here. The newest ones... even though not U.S. made. The 1st ones made overseas were prone to cracking, the newer ones, with extra material on the sides have been very durable for me though 👍🏼
@@jaredmills you are right on the one and done and even if you get them to work I’ve found them to shoot as far as 6 inches off at 40 yards after they’ve been through a deer.
NuFletch ingnitor nocks and Nockturnals have been the best I've used. The ignitor nocks work the same as the Tenpoint lighted Alpha nocks the cross bows use. Super bright and haven't have a fail yet. The use an aluminum insert to contain the the light stick. Very easy on/off. If you try Nockturnal get the new shift version, no tool to turn off.
Firenocks look cool. You can replace each component, circuit, light, battery, nock, etc. Similar weight to others and they have practice battery replacement weight to take battery place and not lose tune while practicing without lights on
There’s getting to be a lot of talk amongst other hosts of deer related you tube and pod cast hosts claiming “I created this concept, and or that concept”. And some pretty snarky indirect pot shots at each other. It’s starting to feel like watch politics. I’d just like to thank the Midwest Whitetails crew for staying out of that kind muck. You guys stay with the “ here’s what we do, here’s why we do it, and here are the results” programming and I’m glad. I just wanted to say thank you for that. In the end it’s just deer hunting!
Hello I'm curious what's the difference between the three and the five pin sites that you can get for them myself id rather have the five pin so I wouldn't have to adjust it for every single shot at a animal that im hunting for interesting video on how you setup your new hunting bow to make sure that it's ready for the season too have a great day now
May 21,22,23 rd Volga State Park in Fayette county 2021 is the date for the Reinhardt 100 this year. I was bummed I miss you guys at the whitetail classic but it'd be awesome if you guys can make it out and shoot the course a lot of people would love to see you guys there. echo valley archers puts it on and they're really great archery club and they need a lot of support.
Give Nufletch Ignitor lighted nocks a try. They’re really easy to turn on and off and you can take the light stick out whenever you’re shooting for practice. I’ve had great luck with them👍🏻
That's funny Jared, me and you shoot the exact same set up other than brands of bow I shoot mathews vxr 28 with a 28" draw at 65lbs and I shoot the 5mm axis also with 100 grain head and nocturnal nock. The arrow weight is 415grain which I dont have any issues at all with full pass throughs 👍👍 like you said if its not broke why fix it. Love the show btw
I thought the same thing... lots of face/nose pressure too.. here's the deal though, Jared has been shooting a long time and I'm sure he's found what works for him. If he's comfortable and consistent with his anchor points then so be it. I don't wanna be 'that guy' to critique a longtime archer.. definitely more than one way to shoot a bow.
I shoot Easton axis 5mm 340 spine 430 grains. Wt a 100 grain head.wt a 28 inche draw. And I get pass through 100% of the time. Using my BOWTECH REVOLT I shoot Threadz custom strings. Hamskea rest. Spot Hogg fast Eddie xl double pin sight.
@@jaredmills I just like to know what the guys in the videos are using. Seems like heavy arrows/ fixed blades is in right now. even after a kill I think people don't show or talk about the broadheads they are using enough. I'm just interested In What people use, that's all
I have a Ventum 33 on the way and I'm actually kind of frustrated with Fuse. Why in the world would they not already have the slider sight for the picatinny rail?? Makes no sense to me. They're a Hoyt company for crying out loud. It's not like they didn't know this was coming.
Awesome bow! Wanted to say something about lighted nocks I shot a doe the Nock lights from red and green flashing basically and a buck came down the same trail seen the light and jumped back circled around and got down wind on it anybody ever had there's spook deer?
I love how real this channel is. Doesn't feel like a commercial. Just straight up good info and personal experience.
Two of my favorites Hoyt and midwest whitetail 👊🏾! Great stuff.Looking forward to the next video 🙌🏾

I've had a pretty good experience with nocturnals.

Get video learned a lot. Just got my first bow (RX5), I’m excited to put what I’m learning into actual practice in prep for the first hunt.
FIREKNOCK!!!! best knock hands down
I agree on the lighted nocks Jared. Best I've used are the firenocks

Is Nockturnal Shifts available? ON the site you can only add to your "wishlist" but not buy evidently....
My version has turned into a nightmare after a year of use. Next to impossible to turn off without stripping out the plastic grooved switch.
great video.. very informative 👏

Great video guys! Going to do my walk back tuning this weekend!
Thanks Gavin, best of luck!
That boy does shoot really nice I went with the ventum 30...love it
Outstanding video, thanks!

Vapor trail strings, nocturnal nocks , Mathews . Can’t go wrong!
Great video. I have a Hoyt Ventum 30 on order, eager to get it and get shooting.

Agree with the lighted nocks I’ve tried almost all of them and they all junk....quality got worse for me last year so I’m open to suggestions as well!
I really like Glory Knock lighted knocks
Mines on order, I cant wait to set it up and start shooting...🏹🏹
Get it yet..mine took 16 wks.
Great info!
Hope y'all guys are doing well.. God bless an have a great week 🤘
It'd be awesome to see you break that thing out at the Reinhart at Volga park coming up in May.

Are you guys going to release Jared’s elk hunt video soon? Looked epic

Draw length looks kinda long
I disagree. Look at his left arm. Its not hyper extended.

How many lbs you shooting Jerrod?
@@jfreak7589 pretty sure he said he's been shooting a 65lb bow for a couple years
Where can I get that sight at? I see fuse doesn't have it on there website.
Where do we find the elk hunting videos?
What website can I go to get that fuse 3 pin slider at?
Firenocks - Pricey but I have had good luck with them.

Just bought this bow and looking for the best one pin sight. I now have an old CBE one pin. What one pin sight do you recommend?
I shoot the trophy ridge react one pro. Great sight, really recommend.
I also have an rx5 paired with the sight as well.
U showed all the equipment u use except for broadheads, I always thought he used jakhammers but I guess I was wrong
