I don’t follow the monarch too much but I can appreciate all that she’s been through. My grandfather fought in World War II and she was also a part of the war effort. Rarely do you see people from that time anymore. Now they’ll only be in the memories of the people who loved them or in books.

Reading through all these lovely comments which are mostly from, I assume, our American friends, it just reflects what wonderfully warm positive people they are. Whenever I’ve been to the States, and that’s been quite a few times, they are always so friendly and hospitable. I wish I could say the same about our nation. Such a miserable angry lot these days!
