A walk around Melrose and a visit to Abbotsford - Home of Sir Walter Scott

In this video we explore more of the marvellous town of Melrose, including the amazing Trimontium Museum, a modern series of exhibits that explain the history of the Roman Fort discovered just outside the town. We enjoy the 2 peaceful gardens in the town, take a walk along the River Tweed and explore the magnificent ruins of Melrose Abbey, where the heart of Robert the Bruce is buried. For our final visit we cycle the 3 miles to Abbotsford, the extraordinary family home of Sir Walter Scott.

Melrose and surrounds was always a road sign on our road home on the A68 We must pay it a visit and soon.
