For me the G90 has been very good. Sure, it doesn't have some of the capability of the ic-705 and it has a couple of quirks but so far it's been very reliable and comments on the quality of signal have been positive. It's a very handy form factor and having the tuner built in is great. Plus 20W is a useful amount without getting too thirsty with the battery.
Mate, enjoyed the video and SCENERY (you need to show more of that and more slowly), but you need to learn how to show your equipment setup in a more diligent and slow manner instead of brushing over it. Also, you walked past your antenna with the guy wires or the tripod (I couldn't tell which) but merely walked out to show us a piece of wire. Good to see you using Google Earth to show us your location.
Good points. Hopefully the videos are slowly improving but it's certainly only a hobby. Plus you have probably guess that these are not scripted at all :-)
Was that your first outing on the bike? Next time please set up in the sun ... I was shivering, brrrrr.
Yeah - certainly the first time carting the gear on the bike.
Another great video Nick, how are you finding the G90? Seem to get good results.. Keep up the good work!

@@zl2neb I agree Nick, the G90 is a great little portable radio. Super versatile, and great audio + punch. The 20w is nice too, VKDNO :)
