Wonderful, thank you! Starting my beginner class in 2 weeks. I already know i have a student with a past shoulder injury she is very nervous about and 2 more with back problems. My class is mostly 50 to 65 year olds who I really want to keep coming and enjoying the benefits of yoga. I am 66 myself and have been practicing for 5 years, teacher training for the last 2 years. so I live the benifits every day!. Namaste
Hi Ashley, I found you yesterday and I’m hooked! Thank you so much, I wish I had all your hands-on sequencing techniques, tips and info during my 200TTT! Grüsse von Deutschand
Sammi brooke Awesome! This is a topic I actually want to expand on, just haven’t gotten to it yet. So many of us are reaching new people and maybe haven’t been taught how to approach them.
Great info, lovely personality. Poor sound quality such as echoing makes listening challenging. Is there a way you can fix this such as using room with carpet to absorb sound therefore reducing high echo? many thx
Thanks for the feedback. This video was created 3 years ago, and I have since improved my video and audio quality. I do have a new 3-part series on teaching beginner yoga that is an update to this exact video topic. Here is the first video: ua-cam.com/video/WbTGlw9YIQk/v-deo.html
Hey Ashley this is Mansi from India! i wanna know that is it imp to have some training to teach yoga to people or be a yoga instructor,, because with no training i am good at yoga with advanced postures... please may i know this!!???
Teaching is an entirely different skill than the yoga practice and physical ability. How to teach can be learned without official training with a lot of self study and practice. Having a good base of what you are teaching definitely helps. So yes and no. It depends on what you are comfortable with. There is no law saying you need to be certified or licensed to teach yoga.
@@AshleyHagen thank you Ashley for answering!! one more thing...if i am good at advanced yoga postures and want to teach people how could it be started as a beginner yoga instructor..
I'm teaching Yoga at a refugee camp in Serbia, and I had no idea where to start, so THANK YOU for this video!!
