Thanks! I got started even when I didn't have good equipment (like a microphone) and just kept going. Hopefully my newer videos are also helpful. I can't wait to keep sharing. It's been really fun.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation present your requests to God by prayer with thanksgiving. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding shall guard your minds and hearts in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7

Thanks for this, I've been wanting to try yoga for years and you're right it's scary / off putting to go for the first time. I've put it off so many times! Now i'd like to go but thanks for mentioning restorative yoga, as I have a spine twist that I was born with, that now is causing some pain issues so that would be great for me I think :) Thanks for giving me a heads up on what to expect and what to look for etc I feel more at ease now.

I hope you find a class and a teacher that works for you. As with any condition or concern, arrive early so you can talk to the teacher. They won't offer medical advice, of course, but it's nice if they're aware of any limitations.

No offense, but when any teacher makes the students in class go around the room to say something, that has never felt comfortable for me personally. That's instantly anxiety provoking for many of us. Otherwise, good tips!

I think it can be great in workshops and small groups. It’s not a “must do.” Just an option if it seems right.

@@AshleyHagen I got ya, girl! Definitely there could be a time and place. I've just noticed there is something comforting to a lot of my beginners about being able to "hide" in the back of a dark room and I can respect that. It's definitely a fine line we walk as teachers between creating an environment where students feel seen but not called out (so to speak). I'm sure you can agree...like you said, right time and place.
