Have we found the Antilles Pinktoe Tarantula in the wild?
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 лип 2024
- the Antilles Pink Toe Tarantula, sometimes also referred to as the Martinique Tree Tarantula is the common name of Caribena versicolor, formerly Avicularia versicolor from the Caribbean archipelago of Martinique. The inhabitants call it „Matoutou falaise“, the French naming of this arboreal tarantula. Tarantula Nature Documentary are the main thing the project of birdspidersCH provides to the public. For many years, we have searched for tarantulas and documented them for all of you out there. This year, things are different - we are lucky enough to use some footage of Caribena versicolor from WorldOfSpiders and stock footage from Storyblocks to present you a getaway in form of this video, to briefly enjoy some calm minutes and information you might have never know about of this magnificent Antilles Pink Toe Tarantula - special Urticating setae structure, problematic taxonomic past and many more info at your fingertips!

up for more collaborations💪 thanks a lot!
It's really cool seeing species so common in hobby actually living in their natural habitat
cheers Chris!
This has to be one of the most stunning genus of Tarantula in the world.
can not agree more on that statement!
I have to agree with you on this I own 6 tarantulas and my virsacor is my favorite
The scenery is beautiful on its own, add the incredible wildlife and I can only think of one descriptor-paradise. Thanks gents
More more more!!!!
my fave 😍😍 they're super fluffy and cute!
Thank you Tarantula Collective for pointing me to this awesome channel!
brought me here too, this channel definitely deserves a lot more attention! :)
Awesome video dude!
thanks mate!
That brings out memories! It's been over a year since I went to Martinique to see them living in the wild and they are so amazing. Can't wait to go back once again at the end of the year!
we can't wait to visit either!
The shots in this video are beautiful!
What a gorgeous creature!
There are no video's such as yours. I love them and appreciate the information. I assume your studies dictate your expedition. I just hope you keep finding and describing these animals. Even if they have already been discovered such as these. Thank you so much.
Its amazing how plump they seem to be in the wild when they are healthy. People often think they dont eat very much in the wild but in most cases spiders/arachnids do eat regularly unless there is extreme adversity. Very interesting showcase of this T. I really enjoyed listening and watching while I worked.
Man I love your videos! Your voice is so calming. Like a European Morgan Freeman!!
that's a comparison I can't take :D Thank you so much! Morgan Freemann is amazing🙈
The quality of your videos and how well they are shot, plus your voice and knowledge of the spiders is gold!!

@@birdspiders I watch all your videos till the end ☺️
I'm a fan of your content and I'll stay subscribed with notifs on but I think it would be better if your voice audio would be louder and your music audio would be a little lower just to balance out the overall audio. Anyways, that's just how I feel watching your videos and thanks for the great content as always!
thanks for the feedback, still mastering the audio part! next one will be better :)

Never seen mine kick hairs, that's pretty interesting that they do it, I just assumed they rubbed them on like other Avics. Great video
I've never seen it either - but there is scientific literature to it
@@birdspiders so my male did kick his hairs when I was catching him for Boris for a pairing. But never seen him doing it befor

Geil gemachtes Video. Hoch leben die Drohnenaufnahmen. :-)

Still my absolute favorite species. With its generally docile nature and myriad of colors, it will be always part of my collection
amazing tarantulas, no words can do them justice
Great video. What about Acanthoscurria antillensis? Hope you found one on this trip.
watch the video again ;-) this time, all until the end
@@birdspiders I didn't see one the first time I watched the video in its entirety, I was just wondering if you had more footage from this trip. edit: ah for a SPLIT second at 11:30. It deserves more than just a split second imo. Still good job!
I just got one of these little fellers and super stunning . Really hoping it’s a female but either way I can’t wait for my juvenile to become a adult
I call my Versacolor 'Ferdinand Fancy Pants" cuz he's always on a fashion runway 📸📸📸
