Caroline Myss - Choice and Self Esteem

- Hi everybody,
Today I'm doing a video that is sort of archetypal, sort of spiritual, sort of a combination of all that. I'm doing it on the power of choice, and how choice relates to self-esteem. And then I'm going to give you a list of choices that, I assure you, will change the quality of your life.
I'm doing this because as I've emphasized in so many videos, our power of choice is our greatest navigating tool as human beings. And choice is the means through which we participate in co-creation. It's the means through which we initiate changes in our lives. And it ties directly, I think, into this greater moment of history in which we're living. I think, in terms of evolution, we are meant to really get that the power of choice is an interior mechanism. Not an exterior mechanism, it is an interior force. And I think that that is why self-esteem has become a critical factor in our well-being, in our physical health and our in mental health. The more we develop our sense of self, the more empowered we become to make choices that reflect the greater reason we were born.
So I send this to you with a heart full of love and grace. And I hope that you'll think and reflect on these choices with the truth in mind, that changing the energetic compass of your life is not about moving. It's not about buying something. It's about making energy decisions that require a lot of effort. But it's that effort that will change the energetic content and the energetic atmosphere of your life. It is extraordinary. Changing the flow of power in your life is a matter of changing the flow of power in you.

Clareunderwood - and since I have always , as a profoundly Hard of Hearing woman , from early childhood , reacting or responding to what people often wanted to keep hidden - people often feel like “ I am telling them off “ - but Caroline’s example of standing with Truth as she experiences it and not looking to the “others “ to change is inspiring to me .
And one must also “choose wisely “ whom one is closest to … but hey ! I have a lot less control than I would prefer as a Virgo ♍️! ❤

I was at the VA doctor's office and she was trying to talk me into a list of tests and I asked her if she ever heard of Kinesiology? She said yes and that was my response - muscle testing is when you ask your body what is best - technically called applied kinesiology. I ask my body first. She offered PT and my body said Yes!!

Love this video unfortunately it's a shame that someone's death has to be the reminder about how precious life is. I get so tired of "tell someone you love them cuz tomorrow's not promised blah blah blah..." It shouldn't matter if you die tomorrow or a thousand years from now, you should be telling them you love them anyway.

Wow I just really had an epiphany. I always thought that self-esteem had mostly to do with your appearance and looks and how you felt about that but now I see it is so much more it is how you see yourself and how comfortable you are with yourself❤

I think it's about looking for others to be our mother when that's always a disappointment as the youngest child you develop a way to just avoid a lot of conflict and go your own way but it can be walked on quite a bit too

I appreciate you so much, what I want to explain is, I had always knew that , first anger is devastating, secondly I had always operate from inside to outside.The anger you are talking, didn't come from me, it's some what else.I came hear. to teach all of this, but people thought it was selfish and egotistic, so I explained and a lot understood and serve them but some not and that's normal.My self esteem is not like others thought,power,confident and aggressive.Its natural and I am not someone who talk a lot when I was young,I was shy and so when I say something to someone who don't believe me,I will not try to convince anyone, and when I grew up and being spiritual, everything changed,I speak my truth but never with anger or agressivité.I told you several times that whatever you read or hear was not from but you didn't get the right message because I was blocked and now if you received it it's because I am not blocked.That's why so many were angry with me. If Spirit is with me then you will get it today.Thanks,I love you so much.

Carolyn, I finally get it! My light is the most valuable treasure I have. Every thought that isn’t peaceful contributes to conflict outside of myself and I leak this light until I can come to peace again. I am struggling right now as I watch my mind bite on nonsense. My question is: How do I come back to peace when the closest people to me want conflict?
They donne want conflict. You are a match for that. Stop reacting. They will stop
I get your question. This video was so powerful for me in this moment. What came to my mind and heart when I saw your question and thought about my own response- Sit in your peace. I see myself feeling the strong scaffold inside with a smile on my face while others want to engage in conflict are all around me.

diet and sports yoga is the beste stept to start healing then learning belly breathing to calm the mind and then forgivnes and extraction of teachings from the past :) love animals and talk to them dont eat them

I have a really hard time with the gratitude for just being alive, because I've always hated being here, since I was little. From the earliest time I can remember, I wondered, why am I here? And I've never figured it out, and my heart has never felt at peace. So what do you do about that? I don't want to be here.
But if we become the constant then where is God shouldn't God be the constant and then often these things that come into our lives and people we wonder if they were sent by God
