I love your funny stories, the way you can approach a topic so gently, indirectly at times, but with each turn, quotes from all faiths, science, silly parable esque stories, you teach and clarify, so that a variety of listeners can learn , hear, what otherwise might make us raise our defenses against. Be well, and this week especially, i am thankful that you are in my life.
After going through cancer treatment and this election, I was really in need of your calming voice and message of honesty this morning. Truth has become the sacrificial lamb in our society. We are not a truth-friendly society, preferring instead to cling to and create illusion to replace truth. Thank you for your message and the peace that comes with listening to you speak.
Thank you for the gift of you. I have known very little support in my life, but you always seem to help me feel supported. I love you and I appreciate you.
Since its a core way of being to lie to ourselves, it seems unsurprising on some, sad level that there’s so much deception between/among people, resulting in the disheartening, discordant, disconnected world in which we now live. My experience of challenging myself with being honest, internally and externally, is that many, if not most, of the folks with whom I interact are not ready to hear; have a hard time receiving my truth, because it often doesn’t resonate with, nor support, their own inner deceptions, judgments, nor projections… Thank you for sharing this! It is so Deeply comforting to be in your truth-seeking & sharing company!🙏
Tara, I belong to two spiritual groups. The self honesty inquiry helped me see what I have really sensed. In one group I can be honest and free flowing, In the other group I feel restricted with the rules, and regulations of what can be shared. This made me cry. Also, the group where I feel like I have to be so careful is where I have devoted 12 years of study and travel. I have been asked to be a leader and I feel so fake.
Dear one, even if it hurts: it’s so important to be able to be oneself in our life. There is no reason to stay in false hierarchical structures anymore - you are too free for this, too true.
I wish that the replies read was being monitored not policed but responded to. There is clear polarity here. And that is not to say there should not be polarity per se. But we should be responding and not reacting
I'm curious about the reference to The Christian Desert Fathers' idea of being separated from their divinity, the forgetting of our oneness with divinity. Isn't this idea a tenet of ancient Hindu tradition?
are there transcripts available? frankly, I don’t love listening to your talks because I am not a fan of how many many stories tell. .Obviously this subjective but I would prefer shorter
You talked many times about the BAD OTHER. What a shame people can't be as compassionate as they claim they are. I lost a friend because of my vote. She told me how disappointed she was. What a back handed comment coming from a so-called Friend. What loss...how sad from someone who claims to be enlightened. The phoniness is ridiculous. And yes, habitual
. . .talks with just the essence rather than all the stories which I find kind of boring and if there's supposed to be funny they're generally not or just very long. And UA-cam is not a good medium for fast-forwarding.Say ten fifteen seconds at a time. So i'm not asking you to change your talks but just to be accommodating to those of us who would rather skip the stories and just get the essence either by reading a transcript or by putting it on a medium where it's easier to skip ahead till the stories over.
I feel so lost. Thank you Tara for this.
❤
I am a psychotherapist and your teachings have been very helpful. You help keep me centered so I can help my people. Thank you
Same here. I’m a psychotherapist and she keeps me centered.

BECOMING UNDEFENDED OPEN SPACE....YES!!! A POWER WITHIN ITSELF!!
I’ve been so ungrounded for weeks and weeks. Using a daily Tara talk to help. Just sit and listen. Thank you. ❤

My congregation recognise me by my face! 😂
What about those who are pleased with the result.
