Man this remind me of growing up in the Caribbean and going by river in country side on a weekend with our food cooked already or we cook the food by the river or beach....people think we living like poppers outside of america but it’s really a nice life . Is just limited economic opportunities but quality of life is superb. Those were the days I’ll never forget. Sharing food with family and having fun laughing etc
Mayaro Day Out reminds of me when I was young. We went to the beach during Summer and weekends, a long time ago. A Chinaman fisherman and his family had a house on the beach, and we spent many weekends there. I remember one night time, the crabs were out on parade, everywhere. You should check the crab season, and visit Mayaro at nighttime. I cooked curry chicken, beef and pork in the pressure cooker for years. The first time, my Mom said you can't cook curry in a pressure cooker. After a few months, she said, my curry tasted better than hers. I cooked curry two to three times a week. My mother would say, "You cooking curry again?" Best cut of beef to cook in the pressure cooker is short ribs with the bone.
