    Einfach geil! Hätte ich sowas als Kind gehabt, hätte ich auf jeden Fall ordentlich die Nachbarschaft belästigt haha. Aber gut, das Stück Pappe zwischen den Fahrradspeichen hat auch schon ordentlich für Krach gesorgt ;'D

    Impressive piece of work.
    My application is in a model boat with forward and reverse Diesel engine sound only.
    Is there a much less complex system you have to cover this or would I need to go through your complete system here and take out what I do not require..?
    Thanks

    • @TheDIYGuy999

      Thanks. Yo can use as it is, you don't have to remove anything, just change the configuration. I also have an ATmega 328 based system. It's way simpler, but the sound quality is not the same.

    I am so happy to have found your channel. I'm currently modding my Tamiya kit with fully functional lights control using IR receiver (the ones that come with Arduino kit), this one is definitely taking it to the next level. Come to think of it, this approach will work well on model locomotives as well (I'm thinking of 2.4Ghz RC or bluetooth controlled battery locomotives in large scale) since off the shelf DCC equipment is so expensive.

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you. It will work as long as your system has the required communication types. Details can be found on my GitHub.

    Fantastic, as always.
    I have tried to order from JLCPCB because it is cheaper but 3 components are missing from the PCB. I will take a look on pcbway. Thank you!

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  4 роки тому

      Thank you. Yes, JLCPCB is a bit cheaper, but I think the communication of PWBWay is better. They send you a picture, after the first board is populated, so you can check it. The DHL express shipping is included, if you choose the SMD assembling service.

    Einfach genial. Ich bin darüber gestolpert, weil ich auch damit angefangen habe, meinen king Hauler mit einem Arduino oder ESP32 auszustatten. Seh ich das richtig, dass bisher 2 Timer für den Sound benutzt wären? Dann würden ja mit dem 3 noch die Servobibliothek (Lenkung) gehen und der 4. Timer für die Trägheitssimulation?

    • @TheDIYGuy999

      Hi, it is working with every remote. You just have to select the correct communication mode, according to your wiring. You also have to adjust the channel mapping (see adjustmentsRemote.xlsx)

    im finished with the esp32 sound fx. and the active suspension. but havent figured out how id actually connect to my rc car.
    to my understanding, the esc output on the esp32 , will control the throttle(speed) of motor?
    one thing I cant figure out though is how do I use the 'sound' on switchB? it sounds like a 'door slamming shut'
    im using flysky i6 tx.

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  4 роки тому +1

      Yes, you have to connect the ESC to the "ESC" connector on the ESP32 board. Don't connect it to the receiver as usual. Make sure it is a crawler ESC with direct brake.

      @@raffyturc The Excel sheet is referring to the "adjustmentsRemote.h" tab. You need to assign the channels according to your remote channel setup. Do it in the "Channel assignment* section of the profile you selected in lines 4 or 5
