Impressive piece of work. My application is in a model boat with forward and reverse Diesel engine sound only. Is there a much less complex system you have to cover this or would I need to go through your complete system here and take out what I do not require..? Thanks
Thanks. Yo can use as it is, you don't have to remove anything, just change the configuration. I also have an ATmega 328 based system. It's way simpler, but the sound quality is not the same. github.com/TheDIYGuy999/Rc_Engine_Sound
I am so happy to have found your channel. I'm currently modding my Tamiya kit with fully functional lights control using IR receiver (the ones that come with Arduino kit), this one is definitely taking it to the next level. Come to think of it, this approach will work well on model locomotives as well (I'm thinking of 2.4Ghz RC or bluetooth controlled battery locomotives in large scale) since off the shelf DCC equipment is so expensive.
Fantastic, as always. I have tried to order from JLCPCB because it is cheaper but 3 components are missing from the PCB. I will take a look on pcbway. Thank you!
Thank you. Yes, JLCPCB is a bit cheaper, but I think the communication of PWBWay is better. They send you a picture, after the first board is populated, so you can check it. The DHL express shipping is included, if you choose the SMD assembling service.
Einfach genial.
@@TheDIYGuy999 Thank you for your response! I have one more question. When I build my ESP32, can I download the sounds from here? Or is it as a sample? github.com/TheDIYGuy999/Rc_Engine_Sound_ESP32/tree/master/vehicles/sounds
This is unbelievable!! I'm building one as I type, are you using Tamiya MFC-01 for the sounds with custom sound files installed? I love what you did!!!

Wow, fantastic sound and light system, thanks for sharing...i have been looking around for something that Tamiya have on there big rig series but its really expensive. Hello from France. i m built on but i ve problem with my dx6 spektrum. Is it working with this remote ? If it is yes what kind of remote mode i must use ?
Hi, it is working with every remote. You just have to select the correct communication mode, according to your wiring. You also have to adjust the channel mapping (see adjustmentsRemote.xlsx) For details refer to: github.com/TheDIYGuy999/Rc_Engine_Sound_ESP32/blob/master/README.md
i have another question if you could help me out when you get a moment. Im using sbus and trying to set up a output on the header pins of the board to run a a second speed control (hydraulic pump) how would i do that for example instead of the ch to run the horn or extra sound how do i use that to run the pump thank you
Have a look at the upcoming v7.5, which is including winch control. Basically you are generating PWM servo signals according to the settings in "7_adjustmentsServos.h"

Yes, you have to connect the ESC to the "ESC" connector on the ESP32 board. Don't connect it to the receiver as usual. Make sure it is a crawler ESC with direct brake.
