Why do you prefer burlap ? I am still in my research stage and I am trying to compare . I see a lot of UA-camrs use primary instead, does burlap provide better longevity for the rug?
Burlap is more to keep to cost low. Primary is the better cloth

Does your burlap ever loosen up (lose tension) as you go along? It might be because im taking several days to complete a rug and its loosening up over time...I'm just starting out making my very 1st rug on burlap...
Yes mine loosen up as I'm tufting projects that takes longer or it I have multiple designs on my frame
Do you have any issues doing diagonal lines on burlap? I was trying but I keep on destroying my burlap.
With the gun I have I don't have any problems. If you have the gun with the black trigger it may be too powerful for burlap. I have the red trigger
