At 5:45 I let out a “yeah” which spreads a giggle around the band. love watching us come dangerously close to losing it then bring it back even tighter than before. 10/10 giggle recovery.

Outstanding♪ What a super great and well-produced reunion of talented musicians,♪
Overall if there's something (IMO) I would have added,
is more thickness/more bass (or mids) in your clean guitar part (I genuinely love Walter Becker's thick guitar tones).♪
Other than that, it's baffling what someone with tremendous talent, knowledge, and know-how can do
and accomplish within the confinement of a such small (but indeed very productive) room/apartment.♪
    ---------------------------------
I've done my part, too, in reviving this lost musical gem/masterpiece,
by having produced a guitar chord tutorial of it, for those who'd care to learn about how it goes
    ua-cam.com/video/I9iaavdGTmc/v-deo.html&ab_channel=SEB%3AEDIT
And also BTW, in my lyrics, I answered your interrogation about *La ROUÉ* steps out.

One thing that's always gotten me about Steely Dan (Well, Donald Fagen in particular)... He sounds so grungy, deep, and subversive when he sings. . . And then I try and sing SD songs and and am shocked just how high the actual notes are. SD is often thought of as a musical band first, but I think without Fagen they would be long forgotten in spite of the musical mastery. And this is no offense to the singer here who provides the cover, he did awesome, but Fagen was truly one-of-a-kind vocalist and the most difficult to come close to replicating.

It is so cool to get a behind the scenes peek into the recording setup. The sound setup is every bit as important as the skills of the musicians and vocalists to the final product (as are Kelli’s mad videographer skills), but they are usually invisible at this end. Thanks! And, oh yeah, great cover! 😃

It takes some balls to to take on a Steely Dan track live. But you guys killed it! Well done.

I like what you did with this unearthed gem but you need a Fender Rhodes on the track not some vanilla keyboard patch. The electric keys are a big part of the magic in Steely Dan songs

I actually didn't care for The Second Arrangement much when I first heard it, but damn, this is incredible. With these people it couldn't be anything but
Edit: the lyric discussion was hysterical, thank you for that 😂

Such a difficult song - instruments and vocals alike. You guys did an amazing job. Loved the giggles too

Damn that was just perfect. Swift is handing out 100,000 to her truck drivers and I really hope you are all doing well financially. I don't begrudge anyone their success but I cry for the talent that isn't rewarded.

That is an impressive sound out of 13 channels in your apartment! Having such talented friends surely helps, but still, respect for the production!

I love seeing all this. The sound is no-compromise (terrific!). It is wonderful to see the arrangement of the gear, microphones and acoustical room management, the talent and enthusiasm of the artists, and what can be achieved in a small space. Awesome. Well done, folks. I do wonder what the neighbours on the other side of those walls think of what they are hearing. :)

Very nice job as always. For me however, seeing and hearing Skylar was the highlight. I’m desperate for anything with his voice and talent. Hoping he posts more songs someday but until then, finding him with you and Carson will suffice. His voice hits my soul deeply. Thx Josh, you’re a gift to the world.
