It’s sad how many tires have been wrecked because the vent holes inside the rims weren’t enough to fully rid the tires and the inside foams of the excess water and even if the tires were barely in water they still never seemed to vent good enough !! But obviously thanks for letting out this vid as it will help many from more wrecked tires and never knowing what was causing their problems as they thought the two vent holes inside the rims were supposed to take care of the water that got inside the rims !! Keep up the Great Work and Vids ! Stay and Play Safe ! 👊👍
Please if anyone can help…I fail to read this part of the instructions for my new TRX4 HIGH LIFT. I was not planning to go in water any time soon, but I did today, it was a lot of fun, however, my tires are full of water😢 WHAT CAN I DO IN THIS CASE…? They are soaked inside. I squeezed the tires but lots of water remained in ther. When I squeezed the tires, water came out of that little hole on the wheel, I assume…please help. Thanks much in advance!🙁👍
Hey @traxxas I have a problem with my rear ring and pinion some reason it keeps slipping when I had just put a new set of gears do you think there could be a reason why?
@@docedits7294 I was looking into the rustler because I'm trying to stay under 350 because I have like 2 years until I can legally get a job plus I would need my driver's license bc I live in the middle of nowhere
If the truck doesn't move but you can hear the motor spin when you give throttle, you most likely have a loose set screw on the pinion or your motor mounting screws came loose. If you don't hear the motor running, try recalibrating the speed controller.
The electronics are waterproof. That said, you'll still want to thoroughly clean and dry your vehicle because steel parts like screws and bearings can rust.
My dumbass didn't read the manual the foam in my tires are soaking wet I squeezed out most of the water I could the next morning my truck looks like it has flat tires what do I do LOL
That can work but in the long run I wouldn't recommend it. If you seal off your tire completely with no sort of ventilation at all, over time your beads may start to de-bond from the wheels due to pressure build-up in the tire, particularly if you do a lot of jumping.
@@HappyDude1 Beadlocks allow you to easily take your tires off the wheels (since they don't require glue) and then you can take the foams out of the tires and let them dry.
Please stop begging. If you want something go work for it or get a job. By begging you just seem selfish and lazy, so if you aren't either of those stop begging
Cant wait to try this on my actual cars tires! Might have to get a big knife to get through though. Thanks for the tip traxxas!
Uhhhh, I wouldn't do this in an actual car if I were you.

The holes in the wheels aren't for water, they are to let air in and out so the tires aren't bouncy.
I use a hot nail or soldering iron. makes a perfect hole .
That actually sounds brilliant
Hey can you make a video on how to install the new Hoss 4x4 vxl LED kit?

If you haven't found out yet, you can take it off and blowdry into the holes. Worked for me
So what about belted tires? Is it safe to do this to them as well?
These holes won't damage the structure of the tires and won't they get damaged while driving?
I haven't had any issues driving on vented tires.
About time we get a TSB on this
Should I get a latrax Teton
Can I put udr springs on my slash
Hey @traxxas I have a problem with my rear ring and pinion some reason it keeps slipping when I had just put a new set of gears do you think there could be a reason why?
Are they meshing correctly?
Either the wrong mesh or your slipper clutch is set wrong.
are you lock tight pinion gear?
What size hex to puncture tires?
But why do you need to put holes in the tyres?
Venting the tires helps get rid of water or sand from inside the tire while still allowing the tire to "breathe" as it flexes going over bumps.
@@markoftheus ok, thanks dude
I live for these videos
Same, I dont even have my slash yet
@@98ranger48 Its good to learn. Slash 2wd or 4x4? VXL or brushed?
@@docedits7294 2wd then I'm gonna save for something better
