  • In our public discourse, the likes of Joe Biden, Bill Gates and Justin Trudeau are routinely labeled “Marxists.” Even though they are all committed capitalists who are perfectly happy to keep the means of production firmly in the hands of the very few at the top.
As economics professor Richard Wolff discusses with Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger, there is a very big difference between Marxism and authoritarianism - in fact, capitalism is much more authoritarian than Marxism.

@@gabrielproulx6316 I have yet to see that argument being made by anyone. Lack of laws isn’t necessarily even the problem, but rather enforcement of laws is a significant one. There are 2 reasons these illegal activities prevail. One is lack of education. Who is in charge of education? The government and are they talking about law? No, they’re telling boys they are girls. The other is lack of incentive or protection of incentive. Many law enforcement officers are afraid to do the right thing because their livelihood would be threatened. Why don’t they arrest those who would illegally take their livelihood? Lack of education. Who’s in charge of education? 😂

In certain things, yeah we kinda desperately need it, because it's either that or corporate domination. Fascism is the marriage between capitalist corporate control with anti-democratic government. We at least in theory have limited say in what our gov does. There def are certain areas where the gov has too much power, or at least shouldn't gain more power and in most of those cases the government is acting on behalf of corporate interests. The fed gov is necessarily the issue, the problem is the way its constituted and inherently anti-democratic influence of capitalism

Capitalism and Communism are economic, Democracy and Totalitarian are political. Authoritarianism can operate in both economics and politics. And Marx pushed that it would take a Totalitarian government to overthrow Capitalism and it would take a generation (20 years) and which point the society would accept Communism and democratically elect it. The problem is this simply shifts the Authoritarianism from the economics to the politics; and since power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, that the transition from an Totalitarian government to the initially intended Democratic model never happens. Fascism is not Nationalism, its ultimate goal (as stated by Mussolini) is the Corporatism of government. And the way to quietly bring that about is by Tweedism. Let the fools beLIEve they have democracy so they don't do what history has taught the powerful, revolt. Its why the real powers that be operate like the Wizard of Oz from behind a curtain. Even "King" Charles isn't a real king in the sense of answering to no one. Its the Central Banksters cartel that control the currencies that are the real powers. Always have been, and always will unless We The People stop believing the comforting (and by that I mean the absolved of all responsibility for anything) lies.

Mayer Amschel Rothschild, the founder of the Rothschild banking dynasty, is often attributed with the quote: “Give me control of a nation’s money and I care not who makes its laws.” This quote suggests that the control of a nation’s financial system is more significant than the control of its political system. Another related quote attributed to Rothschild is: “I care not who controls a nation’s political affairs, so long as I control her currency.” These quotes highlight the influence and power of financial control in a nation.

Marxism is a social, political, and economic philosophy named after the 19th-century German philosopher and economist Karl Marx. His work examines the historical effects of capitalism on labor, productivity, and economic development, and argues that a worker revolution is needed to replace capitalism with a communist system.

Enjoy the fruits of your labour, put the value you want on it, whether it be by negotiating the value of your work/ labor for a wage, or produce and manufacture, farm or provide a service yourself. This will be exchanged with someone who agrees to the value of your product and exchanges money for your product or service.
Take the corruption out of capitalisim.
Communisim destroys all incentive, and innovation, puts the ambitous, on the same level as the lazy free loader, imagine like this guy says it's a "democracy" the group decides how to distribute the money, do you think you will get an even share for your hard work? Does it inspire you to work harder? Innovate?
Clearly this guy never worked a real day in his life. I've been in four different unions over the years, I've been president of my local on 3 different occasions, and over the years have realised, that organized labour, stiffles business, holds back wages for productive workers, and coddles and protects the laziest, uninterested workers.
There are some good points to it, but over all, whatever benifits come from unionizing, the negatives far out weigh.
Also the dues you pay go to fund a big fat pig of a union that is in bed with the government.
    Communisim would be no different.
Anyone like Jimmy who is weary of the government, and speaks out about their corruption, should realize any communist government would be just as corrupt.
The answer is not bigger Gov., It's pearing it down to only what is needed, the letting the people do business with eachother like they have done for 1000s of years.
