The road were good but due to military vehicles they have been bad but they are trying to improve the area for tourists. They used to not allow anyone in the fort before the military. This fort used to be in pink color In it’s time. The feeling u were feeling yes there are very hunted places near the village . @8:53 the place shown of the forest it is one of the most hunted place and I’m glad you didn’t travel at night through there .

When we passed the area the camera was perfectly taking pictures again ! Recent one was 2020 when we were visiting and the vehicle was getting heavy so me and my cousin got out The back mirror had hand prints of very big hands and 8 fingers 😕 that’s about it but many stories . Thanx very much Iffy for showing an important part of history of India. Till this day I knew only that Jahagir was buried in Lahore only but today you made it clear that how his body was moved from Bhimbar to lahore and other two mazars. That Baghsar fort looks very old and certainly older than Mah. Ranjit Singh times. But it is tumbling day by day, I wish govt of Pakistan must do the repair work and make it fit for tourists. Thanks.

Nice feelings to see you exploring my home town. Although the 6 to 7 kilometers road leading towards Baghsir Fort is in real bad conditions but i strongly suggest tourists from Punjab to visit Samahni Valley. This is not far from Lahore , in four hours time you'll reach here and there is Baba Shadi Shaheed shrine, famous religious tourism site. This scenic valley has wonderful natural water falls, mountain tops, Line of Control sites and much more that can't be expressed in words .

    Dear Iftikhar Urfi,
I am Sajjad, a retired military doctor.
I had randomly watched a few of your blogs, probably a few years ago. The most interesting and philosophical one was probably the story of getting your BOSKI KA KURTA repaired by a RAFOOGAR.
The description of your experience was simple, nice and thought provoking.
In the drama Parizad, your performance was a catalyst to watch more of your Vlogs.
Your journey to BAGSAR was shared today, by one of my brothers.
What I wrote back to him, was my personal experience of visiting BAGSAR, which I am sharing here with you as you have visited the place and can “feel the feelings”.
    Profound regards,

Very happy to see my hometown ❣️. I've visited this place in 2020 last time . Roads were in good condition. I guess roads are destroyed due to recent rains .
For the kind information of you people if you want to go to the fort there are two ways .one from gujrat then bhimber then samahni then Baghsar . This route is quite easy
And 2nd one is gujrat then barnala then baghsar . This is short but a difficult route

Amazing story. I by chance came across on UA-cam the story on Ruins of Harappa. Since then I am hooked to his videos and going through every video. Though by roots a Pakistani but didn’t know much about Mughals and all the historical places in Pakistan. Great man and he is putting his best efforts to introduce these historical places. Definitely it’s very sad to see the deteriorating conditions of most historical places. I wish Pakistan government could restore these places to promote tourism. May Allah give him long healthy life that he keep posting these videos of our great country Pakistan. Aameen.

Chingus Fort or Chingus Sarai, is an ancient fort in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. The fort dates back to the 16th century. Chingus was used by Mughal emperor as rest camp or transit camp during their annual journey to Kashmir. It is a well planned edifice of Mughal architectural style that having two apartments. The name Chingus carries an interesting history of Mughal kingdom. It has been derived from Persian word ‘Chingus’, which means intestines. The fort complex houses one of the two graves of Mughal Emperor Jahangir, who died enroute from Kashmir to Delhi. Other one is in Lahore, Pakistan. In order to avoid succession war, Noor Jahan buried the intestine and other abdominal parts of the emperor in the premises of the sarai and protects the body from decay

I agree with you, qila bagsar was just majestic, it tells a story, a story of what it went through, wars, bloodbath and no wonder what else. the hardest part for me were the roads, they were scary yet exciting, the deep forest, the neverending heights, the first view of the qila, it still lives vividly in my memory, I will not dare to go there again but deep in my heart that if I ever get the chance I will see it again.
