    Great review! I also have a 750 and agree that it is a great all around bike. I have the premium package and ride with the suspension on Road mode and the Mode switch on Dynamic unless I am riding mountain roads where I put the suspension in Dynamic as well. It rides almost as smooth as my 1250 GS did on the street with a very comfortable seat and seating position. Power output is plenty and I get just under 60 mpg overall. Arguably the best all around bike available in my opinion.

    Great review and nice accessories. I especially love the pegs, the brake peg, the light cover, and the phone holder. I wish I could find someone to make the light cover in Turkey. The ones we can buy are so thin.

      You have increase the height of the gear leavers by adjusting the upper screw of the shaft. I have done it to my 750 and now can easily slide my adv boots under it.

    Thanks for the review, Mr. Bruno. Just a note of advice regarding braking: to play it safe, both brakes need to be used at all times, and if one brake (more than the other) will cause you to have an accident when operated alone, that is always going to be the front brake, my friend. Ask anyone who races bikes for speed or off-road and their answer will always be 'of course, both brakes' most typically. More often than not, for the last many years, many bikes come already equipped with linked braking ... why would that be, right?

    • @Brunoxtr
      @Brunoxtr  3 роки тому +2

      Hi, yeah. Later I noticed what I said. Sorry for that. Mainly both brakes have to be applied for safety. For off road just the rear so the front wheel doesn't skid. You can apply front when in a straight line to help reduce speed.

    Excellent revievew! I like the pro's & con's you've given. I was interested in a used 850 gs but it was just too massive for what I wanted to do . I sat on a 750 and it fit like a glove to me. Seriously looking at this bike vs a Honda Transalp 750 & V-Strom 800 .......

    Beautiful bike! Your English is perfect. You must have spent a lot of time in the US. Consider putting a little bit of orange reflective tape on the side of your storage box for night safety.

    Sounds like you should have went with the 850 but then a spring modification and maybe a lower seat. The difference is more than what you say, the front wheel is also 21inch and more narrow. And the front suspension is not only upside down, it is longer. If you plan(ned) to do more off road riding the 850 just is the better one. 750 is a street bike that allows you to take a dirt road, but that’s about it. I am about your size, the 750 fits better, but 850 was not impossible. Safe rides!

  • @ampm9771
    @ampm9771 3 роки тому +3

    This is how the F850 should have been made. This bike with proper forks and spoke 19 inch wheel would be perfect. F850GS with 17-21 wheels is monstrosity. I say you better off with F750GS if you want a BMW. The 19inch wheels makes it more usable than the 21 inch that you'll never use.

    • @Brunoxtr
      @Brunoxtr  2 роки тому +1

      Totally agree. That’s why the 1250 has 19 inch in the front.

    Super review! although I am surprised you like the transmission. I think its the weakest point of the bike like on many BMW's. A good advice for the chain slapping issue (factory design flaw) is to keep slack to minimum and bump up the pressure rear. I will try that. You also reminded me to set up the sag... Thanks. What phone charger/holder is that? Care to share a link?

    • @Brunoxtr
      @Brunoxtr  3 роки тому +1

      You mean lower the rear tire pressure.
      Actually it is a custom fit between these two:

      @@Brunoxtr I thought i heard increase not decrease the pressure but yes, makes sense to be decreased now that i think about it. For the holder, i have the same givi bracket and i was looking at the same phone holder but the bracket is 11mm and the holder is 22mm. How did you manage to tight them together? Thanks and sorry for bothering

    • @Brunoxtr
      @Brunoxtr  3 роки тому +1

      @@TheN3Nad Like I said I did a custom fit between the two. I fabricated a bracket that fits the 11mm tube of the givi.

      I have the same bracket on my bike but use the SP Connect system. You can attach your phone really quickly, and when you don't need it it doesn't get in the way. Only downside is it's a little pricier, but worth checking out: sp-connect.co.uk/collections/motorcycle

    Can I use this bike everyday? I want a big Cc bike but alot pf people say those bikes are not good everyday bikes because they use to much gas ⛽️ and they overheat. I live in Oaxaca Mexico and do about 50 to 60 km a day in the city.

    • @Brunoxtr
      @Brunoxtr  2 роки тому +1

      You sure can. I use it to go to my office everyday. In the city I get about 43mph. On the highway almost 60mpg. It does get hot in traffic, specially in the summer but the radiador does a good job cooling it down.
