A true work of art....I look forward to the day when I can hit the trail. The world needs more real people like ur brother and less bs!! I've become a firm believer in less is better! So sorry for your loss.....
I think he would have liked it. He was an incredibly dynamic person. He always put everyone before himself, Always. He was the kindest man I will ever know. Even as little kids. Thank you Everett. He really enjoyed you and your channel a lot. Thank you sir.
My last hike ended in 2006. So it was before video DSLR's were even invented I believe. I'm not even sure there were any sliders aside from the ones being used by professional movie studios. The last 3-4 years have been pretty amazing. I did a few days last december hiking in Mount Rogers. 45lbs of camera junk. Which made my pack about 100lbs. I didn't do many miles, but I got some great shots. A camera body, a couple lenses, a pocket tripod, and extra batteries is doable, I think. Thank you
Thank you. Drew is right about magic lantern. I use a cheap intervalometer to control the camera (7D), then do post production of the photos in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.
In your thru hikes, did you actually carry a tripod and slider?? On top of the camera equipment you must have had a pretty heavy pack. Great video though, and sorry for your loss.

You can't use Magic Lantern on a 7D.
