I think he would have liked it. He was an incredibly dynamic person. He always put everyone before himself, Always. He was the kindest man I will ever know. Even as little kids. Thank you Everett. He really enjoyed you and your channel a lot. Thank you sir.

My last hike ended in 2006. So it was before video DSLR's were even invented I believe. I'm not even sure there were any sliders aside from the ones being used by professional movie studios. The last 3-4 years have been pretty amazing.
I did a few days last december hiking in Mount Rogers. 45lbs of camera junk. Which made my pack about 100lbs. I didn't do many miles, but I got some great shots.
A camera body, a couple lenses, a pocket tripod, and extra batteries is doable, I think. Thank you

Very nice video. I was born only 15 days after him it looks like. Too young.

Thank you. Drew is right about magic lantern. I use a cheap intervalometer to control the camera (7D), then do post production of the photos in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.

Breathtaking as usual! Do you use magic lantern?

In your thru hikes, did you actually carry a tripod and slider?? On top of the camera equipment you must have had a pretty heavy pack. Great video though, and sorry for your loss.

  • @drewnetwork
