Mazda RX-7 Tein Coilover EDFC System - Is it worth it? Part 2
Вставка

- Japanese suspension manufacturer, Tein, makes various types of coilovers for many cars but is their EDFC (Electronic Dampening Force Controller) adds active suspension adjustments on the fly.
My name is Aaron Forrester, and this is part 2 of my review of adding the EDFC Active Pros system to my Tein Flex Z coilovers to my 1993 Mazda RX-7. Does this system really make that much of a difference and is the extra $800 cost worth the benefits? In this video, I show you the basics of how to install the system.

Your production quality is crazy for how small the channel is, You got something really good here, keep doing it and you will go far 👍🏻
Thank you! I figured, if I'm gonna make content, make it look nice =)

@@AaronsEccentricGarage nice!
Very nice ride, and overall quality of the videos is really good. I am considering on installing these for my mx5, but I do not get the cable situation, it says they are wireless, but yours came with a lot of wires, also in your video it doesnt show wire connections. Could you please clarify the wiring process? Thank you and best regards,
Thank you for the compliments!
There are a total of 4 motors. Each pair (front and rear) have their own control box. So, yes... you have to wire up the motors to their respective control box and the control box to power/ground. The motors are plug and play but you'll need a little work to install the control box. The 3rd element is the interior controller/remote. You hate to wire that up to a proper power/ground as well. Once all 3 systems are installed, the motor controllers communicate with the interior controller/remote, wirelessly.
Starting my edfc install on my 91 300zx this weekend. Can’t wait!! Super satisfied with the flex z alone. When are you posting the test drive?
hopefully within a week. I live in Arizona and we've had a ton of monsoon rains and dust storms, making it hard to get out of the house for a drive
just uploaded part 3
what is orange greece? i have edfc kit but i dont have orange greece? what cani use?
Mine came with the kit. It's an electronic safe grease.
@@AaronsEccentricGarage Yeah i undestand but i have second hand edfc
@@osa1995 I'd assume it's a type of lithium grease
When’s the next part dropping
Due to arizona monsoons and unexpected life events I've had to pause. But with those things out of the way, I'm back on track and will be filming the final part this week. With any luck. It'll be done by the end of the week. Fingers crossed.
@@AaronsEccentricGarage Glad to hear! Definitely looking forward to seeing this in action! Always looking for unnecessary parts in my Miata build.
Can't wait for your part 3 video 👍🙏
