This system i a wild cocept. Im am extremely familar sith stepper motors an especialy nema 17's so seeing them ontop of a coilover threw me for a massive loop lol i can pretty much tell exactly what theyd be used for, some live adjustment of the coilovers based on road conditions/driver input. In theroy i can see it working, nema 17's are tough as hell little motors, i would just think it would be the coilover being adjustable enough to really notice it but what do i know. Really interesting none the less
What is the size of the motor? I have 1.85” T-Sportline lift kit installed on top of the Tein EnduraPro Plus shocks (Tesla Y). Is that sufficient space to place the motors?
What is that red grease that you use. Can I use any grease or it has to be grease from tein. I avoid taken the motor off because I don’t have any more grease
Bought these coilovers with the sole purpose of using active on them only to find out the company says they're not sure it'll fit under my hood because the motors sits so high...
You act like its the companies fault they don't fit in YOUR car, a car that also tein had zero involvement in designing said car. Not every part fits on every car, when has that ever been a thing? How do you not understand that? Suspension designs vary an insane amount
Dampening works similarly in other coilovers, look for some info regarding adapters for it, I saw someone who did it but I've forgot coilovers name :( megan racing I guess
When you are screwing the motor on, you are allowing the shaft to spin with it. Won't that completely stuff up the settings, especially if one of the other motors doesn't turn as much (or turns more)?
it does. it recalibrates 1/10 times it turns on w/ standard settings or, as i set it, every time. just installed flex z's and EDFC active pro on an evo 8 last night.
Thanks you for info about black hex bolt and edfc 2

Nissan R50 can use this type of suspension?
In the case of EDFC2, you dont have to do nothing with the small piece on the inside? You screw the motor directly?

im about to install my motor and i had the same question. Did you ever find an answer somewhere else?
Red loctite
any grease to prevent metal to metal is fine
Any grease is fine, don't trip on it

So take a tape measurer and find out if it'll fit....

Do they work on non tein coilovers?

Might be some initial self check where the motor goes to the loosest setting and knows where that is. Not sure how smart the system is.
it does. it recalibrates 1/10 times it turns on w/ standard settings or, as i set it, every time. just installed flex z's and EDFC active pro on an evo 8 last night.
It resets everytime.
Where do I buy this
How I can get the dealer ship
Why does it look like chilli sauce
Will these work with bc racing coilovers?

@@ela_giwrgi would be awesome if they was universal
teins invention.. so they keep them to themshelvs
