I liked when you focused on the tstack cases instead of the stuff inside. I’d say do a separate video on what’s inside and just keep this one as a review of the tstack system.
Great video. I also started recently getting Tstak boxes to sort out the mess I have with tools and parts everywhere. I first considered the Makita boxes but their lack of different configurations turned me off. Milwaukee's packouts are great but pricey and more oriented to the people on the trades. I'm more of a novice woodworker, what I need is organization and storage than boxes to move around. That's why I ultimately went with the Tstak. The first one I got was the flat top box to store my Ryobi cordless brad nailer, its charger and brad nail boxes. Everything fits perfectly. Then I got the deep toolbox with long handle to store my Ryobi and Craftsman drills, boxes of screws, bolts, nuts and some other miscellaneous stuff. I was really surprised at all the interior space it has plus the benefit of having storage compartments on the lid. Definitely recommended for anyone wanting to store lots of stuff. The third one I got was the yellow top toolbox with long handle, which is basically the deep toolbox I mentioned but more shallow. I got it for storing my Makita router, it parts plus stuff from my Craftsman router. Plenty of space and all neatly organized. Next in line will be the 2-drawer box for storing all my measurements tools and other things like wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.

I like that they are not as huge as the Milwaukee setup , portable , etc. The drawers seem great because you can keep them stacked in a customers home and you still can access your tools without unstacking all of them. The other brands seem to bulky and most need unstacking and too heavy. I also like the individual handles on the top of each unit to carry. 👍 PS , they are harder to locate , but I think they are also under the Versastack label at Lowes . Will check out

Hey Heat1up, Yes. I am a Ryobi user for the most part. I stumbled upon these as a portable solution to carry my tools to investment properties and RV traveling. They work very well for my purpose. This was never intended to be a comparison. In most of my videos, you'll only see products I purchase for my own needs and I think it's helpful to share the experience I have with the products. It's up to the viewers to determine, based on my use-case, if the products might be a solution to their own needs. I have a bunch of portable Ryobi tools so that's why I purchased the Ryobi branded tool cases and boxes. Just tougher, no pun intended. You can compare them at Lowe's or home Depot. These will mate with the Craftsman's versastack. You can also compare the craftsman tradestack to the versastack. I'm not sure if the tradestack will mate with the tough system, but tradestack is the tougher version of versa.
@@feyrband I ended up seeing the toughsystem cheaper at Home Depot than I saw it on Amazon and got that instead. The toughsystem might be larger than the TSTAK, too from the looks of it
100 dollars worth of tools in a 250 dollar set up 😥 . I have the set , you failed to mention the clips will break easy , you can buy replacements on Ebay for 2 bucks , but they dont make them in the u s so it cost like hell to have one shipped, my opinion in the system is the long handle yellow top topper box and the drawers are good units , the clips suck, the double drawers needed to be an inch deeper so you can put a drill or battery in them , but they work good for smaller tools .
I'm sorry, but $100??? in tools? Let me know where you purchase 😅 . I haven't had the problem with the clips you are mentioning. I'm glad you like that they work for smaller tools. I use the cases around the household and to my rental properties for repairs....and everything has held-up very well- so far. I would agree, the deeper the drawers, the BETTER! I ended up drilling a hole through the intire clip including the broke off tip and used a long finishing nail and gorilla glue to make a tougher clip , lol , one of mine broke the first day I used it , the "tote " 20 bucks , it's a nice tote but the clips dont fold in or out to help with the stacking , I like the system tho, I am a dewalt nut anyway , get you the long handle topper with the accessory top , it's a really nice unit to top it off and it's like 25 bucks
Maybe I had a bad unit, the t stack tote and clip was the one, the drawers and top box fix better than a unit snapping onto the tote for some reason, it may be why the tote was 12 - 15 dollars cheaper than the other units

I like T stak because it's smaller then the tough cases. Seems like the perfect size.
Tstak is the best deal in stackable organizers, also will stack with Versastack, hope they keep making them. Seems like Dewalt is phasing them out.
This video was more about the tools you have IN your T Stak then about the boxes themselves.

The rolling box needs a wire around the handle hooked to the metal rod to keep it from becoming unhooked

This looks like a review of your tool inventory. How come no mention of drawer sizes? Looks like metal drawer slides, are they ball bearing equipped?
How much does the first box with wheels weigh empty? And dimensions of the inside of the box?

Yep, I'm still liking mine. Thank you for the advice! I've been more of a RYOBI "NUT", but these cases have been nice by DeWalt.
Never had a issue with t stak clips. Just don't use your hammer to open them.
