Wow. Caleb is horrible now. I've seen Attack Attack 3 times live, and each time it was more effort than this. More screaming, less talking slowly and softly. Play the damn songs how made them to be!
Please name one.Just one...Let me guess. They scream, so they're just like every other metal band. They are a punk influenced metalcore band that features power vocals rather than high pitch 3 note choruses, and every tone of scream out there. Not to mention they fill out their songs without the use of electronics, which is what every other band in the scene relies on to sound decent. This band is the most creative/original band to hit the scene in years.
Trea Coffill They sound exactly like My Ticket Home in the new breed days, Miss Fortune, Sylar, One Year Later, Adestria (even though Adestria's vocalist is hands down better than this dude). Hell I'd even say they sound like Fit for a King even though they came on the scene a little later. Caleb can't perform his shit live at all. His voice goes out in every song. If you disagree, then you obviously haven't seen anything he's done. He got boo'd off the stage when Attack Attack played warped in St Louis a few years back. The guitar parts are boring and repeat themselves throughout the entire song. Half the tabs are open notes. I'm not saying that they're a bad band, because people like what they like regardless, I'm just saying that for everything they do well, there's a band that does it better. This is generic nonsense.
We're just going to have to agree to disagree because those are absolutely terrible comparisons in my opinion.I hear major differences when I listen to Beartooth, but I guess it's all in how you perceive it.Everyone has their own unique tastes that subconsciously makes them hear a song in their own way.I never claimed he was good live or that they were a technical band. The way Caleb approaches music is a different kind of passion for me.The songs are simple but well composed which keeps me interested. It's easy to listen to.I respect that you actually know your music and aren't just some douche hating for no reason, but still disagree. I do however agree that Adestria's vocalist destroys Shomo. But that dude is a different breed of amazing so he doesn't count.
Trea Coffill I respect the fact that you actually took the time to respond without flaming and raging, and I totally agree with what you said. I understand where you're coming from and you make a solid point. People do hear and appreciate music differently, and, if this is the type of band that gets you hyped, then who am I to downplay that? I'm sure I get that same kinda passionate feeling from bands that many people don't like/understand. I went through last night and gave these guys a more thorough listen, and they're not as bland as "set me on fire" made me think. "Dead" is pretty solid. Take it easy man.
I read your list of bands you think they're exactly like and man I just gotta tell you this band brings a whole fucking lot to the table. honestly they're sound really is doesn't compare much to anybody. they are no where close to normal metalcore these days. They bring so much energy to the table in their shows. this video doesn't even begin to describe. if you ever get the chance to check them out do it. they are what the metalcore scene needs. someone hard hitting who keeps the energy going. they are amazing live second best band i've ever seen. of course letlive being the first. i'm drifting off so now I am done.x)

If I wanted to hear the song the way they should be played I would just stay home an listen to the album.
There is nothing about this band that is creative/original or separates them from the 5000000 other bands that they sound exactly like.
