Exactly. People like him live in their own bubble and assume everyone else can do what they can do, and that they just choose not to. Which is inherently classiest like Kurtis began to mention. The problem is that the majority lower income people simply don’t have the choice. It’s sad how because of the cadence that this man speaks, his followers agree without thinking critically.
I live in a very poor area where people mostly eat fast food. It is easy for me to eat healthy food cheaper than fast food. Most people aren't taught how to eat healthy. It's possible, people don't want to or can't take the time to learn.
@@acreeoutdoors1479 poor area doesn’t have to equal food deserts. Access to healthy food sometimes isn’t possible, like in the northern territories for example.
As someone who grew up with a single mom who worked two jobs and was on welfare… you can’t just eat steak all the time lol. Sometimes you can and even then food stamps don’t cover that much. Then if you do end up getting a decent job that starts to cover bills, you will lose all benefits and your insurance if you go over a very small amount of money you’re legally allowed to make. It’s incredibly hard to escape poverty and at the same time there are so many people that have no idea what they’re talking about when they bash people on government funding and make them out to be lazy when realistically it’s so difficult to escape the loop. The dude is classist and has no idea what he’s saying lol.

Even then it’s not realistic to say you can adequately feed a family exclusively vegetables/fruits/meat on the same amount of money you’d spend on fillers like chips or pasta. Like sure, a single person could fill up on multiple vegetables for about $7 per meal and MAYBE get all the nutrients they need but many people have to feed their kids and then themselves on the same exact budget ! Vegetables are pretty cheap, fruits are cheap… depending on where you live. It’s not only the healthiest for your body but also for the planet and animals too

Good point about liquor stores and alcohol withdrawal. I work at a therapists office that’s mostly substance abuse and have been told how alcohol has the worst withdrawals. Alcohol, benzos, and opiates are the three withdrawals that can be lethal when someone does cold turkey
