The 4 divine helms actually have a hidden bonus of guardian resistance. I tested how many hearts of damage I took from a guardian blast with the ancient helm and one of the divine helms. I took the exact same amount of damage.
So they are really better than the ancient helmet?

so the rudania one for example, gives both guardian resist and ancient proficiency (set bonus) like the bucket helmet does? except with fire resistance added on top. Strange, that isn't shown in the menu, you still have 2 bars of guardian resist compared to using the bucket

@@shdhdsjdjsj8624 cause like, for example, in faster running speed or climbing speed, you still take more stamina, making it the same distance, and because nintendo, they would increase horizontal and vertical speed. So if you were a spead runner it will work out although theh will get to the same target, just before.

I haven't gotten to that point yet either. I've got about 500 regular arrows and about 300 of all the other types with the exception of ancient arrows. lol I've got a little over 200 hours into the game and I've finished the main story as well as the shrines. in retrospect I wish I had taken my time with it a little more. I'm enjoying exploring but I've done all the side quests and everything

1:18 first time I’ve ever heard Austin say Ravali instead of Ravioli XD
Btw when the helm are fully upgraded and u have the gear fully upgraded it gives u max defense which is the 80 something so it doesn’t matter about the 1 less guardian resistance it does the same thing but better because the divine helms give a extra bonus the heat, cold and shock resistance oh and the swim speed up.
So very glad you posted this video. I would have NEVER known to use the Amiibo more than once since that is all you could do in Awakening.
What each helm does is kind of lame, it would've been much cooler if the vah ruta helm allowed you to go under water, the vah rudania helm allowed you to swim in lava, or not be damaged by explosions or fire, the vah medoh helm allowed you to fly for 30 seconds, not just glide, and the vah naboris helm allowed you to restore health by getting struck by lightning, or be immune to any electrical attack, or to control lighting itself. It would even be cool if the guardian helm allowed you to shoot a laser from your eye. So many missed opportunities :(

They totally should have made the champions follow you around for a bit and fight as spirits. That would have been amazing. Treat it like wolf link where they take damage and go away at certain points.
BlueTony680 yeah that would be a great idea but it sounds to me like it would make the game to easy you would never get hurt by anything idk it sounds really cool but i personally would rather that not be the case
BlueTony680. EXACTLY! You already have a ton of things to get the buffs they give you. You can use armor, dishes, jewelry (Gerudo Town), and other stuff. I agree, they definitely could’ve increased the usefulness of the helms.
BlueTony680 i dont agree with this. While its an incredibly cool concept, it would make the game too easy. I mean, the ability to fly and getting healed by lightning? All the challenge would be thrown out of the window and would die because it ragdolled on a cliff.

Did you know that if you upgrade the Divine Helms two times and put them on with the ancient armor you will get a set bonus of ancient proficiency just like the ancient helm so amazing!
0:32 now we have the new amibos that are finally released including: Urbosa, Mipha, Daruk and ravioli.
Fun fact, all divine helms let you see hp like the champions tunic and when upgraded twice with the other ancient armor you can get ancient proficiency
I got them all! I was able to get to the Goron city without using elixirs which was nice!

Guardian skywatchers seem to drop some cores half the time. Turrets ate mainly gears. I got a giant core from a turret, and right after 3 cores and 1 giant core from a skywatcher. 1 time a turret dropped 2 things and 5 more appeared right above Link after he picked them up.

It might have been cooler if the Divine Beast Helms didn’t have those super simple abilitie thingies but instead had a special ability thing and it would be the only piece of gear with that ability thing. Like the Vah Medoh Helm would have like something that’ll help u in the air. And the same for the others. Also for the Vah Ruta one, they gotta change it too.
Um... none of those are the Champion's Weapons. They're what you need to MAKE new ones when they break.The Champion's Weapons are Scimitar of the Seven, Boulder Breaker, Lightscale Trident, and Great Eagle Bow
No, you can't turn those into Champions weapons... If you want a Great Eagle Bow you need a Swallow Bow, not a Falcon Bow (the one that the Revali amiibo gives you). To make a Boulder Breaker, you need a Cobble Crusher, not a Stone Smasher, and so forth for all the weapons that the amiibo give you.
My mistake. They're still not the Champion's Weapons though, which makes even LESS sense seeing as how you can get a BUNCH of those weapons just laying around in the world.
They are medium versions. Cobble Crusher to STONE SMASHER to Boulder Breaker is an example
Yes but it still doesn't make sense. Maybe they only give you the Champion's Weapons if you don't still have them or something. They made it sound like you could get multiple of every Champion's Weapon through the Amiibo, more than on Lightscale Trident, more than one Great Eagle Bow, etc
LightDragonTV The champions weapons, like all other amiibo, are very likely rare drops. I wouldn't be surprised if you get several helmets before it actually drops a champions weapon. Especially if it actually gives weapon bonuses to chamions weapons, which you can't get normally.

I got these little cards that are about the size of a stamp that are amibos from Amazon, comes with 16 amibos I love them. there were some reviews that said some of them didnt work, but all of mind worked. sometimes they act up, to which I skip that card and move to the next and get back to it later.

I said the exact same thing about all 14 of my amiibos as they piecemeal arrived in central Montana. Remembering that my little sister just became a grandmother for the 5th time, I used my jack knife to slit open the transparent covers enough to get at all my new toys and their treasures. When I'm dead, the grandkids can have amiibos AND the boxes. (If they find them in the basement :) )

The weapon drops are simplified versions of the Champion's weapons. When mixed with a Diamond, they become the actual weapons.
Kaizo Nope, what he got is:
Stone Smasher
Moonlight Scimitar
Silverscale Spear
Falcon Bow
But the ones needed to make the champion’s weapon is:
Cobble Crusher
Gerudo Scimitar
Zora Spear
Swallow Bow
Dead Fish is right, there are three tiers, the weak weapons used to upgrade to the champions weapons, for example gerudo scimitar + diamond and flint= champions weapons, the ones in the video are the second tier and can not be used to upgrade to a champion weapon

He got naboris divine helm immediately because after four stale chests you will always get an item from the top loot table
you don't need acient resistance... when fully upgraded it actually had enougth defence to make a guardian beam do minimum damage even before any resistance is applied.
Actualy due to the explosion the beam causes it actually more efficient to fight a guardian with a fully upgraded flame breaker set instead.

I’m a little irritated I have to spend a chunk of money if I want to have these helmets. I think it would’ve been better if they had implemented the helmets in the game and you had to do some sort of side quest to obtain the helms. But Nintendo doesn’t make any money out of that so they instead decided to release $20 amiibo. Which is just stupid. After I use the amiibo to get the helms what else would I do with them? They seem useless after that so why buy them?

You can buy nfc tags for really cheap. I got every botw amiibo nfc tag for 15 dollars on eBay.
Hello Austin John, very nice video. I´m very curious about the armor set you put on Link is this video. Which one is that? I never saw this armor set before.
They should have given them super cool abilities like:
Vah naboris:
Shock resistance
When using urbosa’s fury all metallic objects in a certain vicinity will explode shocking all enemies around it
Vah Ruta:
Swim speed up
When miphas grace is used creat a shield of ice protecting you from the next attack
Vah rudania:
Fire resistance
When Daruks protection is used burn all enemies in a certain area
And finally vah medoh:
Paraglide speed increase (idea from other comment props to them)
Cold resistance
When ravioli’s Gale is used send down a barrage of 10 arrows currently equipped while strangely using up 1 arrow
