*Funfact* : actions & stuff looks better due to it being able to use key frame animations, while on java you have to code animations yourself which is why Fresh Animations is worse because it's harder to make, it's a passion project, and it's free. If you ask me how I know this, it's because I've been working on a java player pack for a bit now (coming soon).
Regardless of the fact that making animation takes time and they are both hard, whether you frame them or not, because I tried doing animation myself for a few months. And I was doing the coding and the frame both are hard.

And the thunder ⚡ things in creeper also the turtle head especially when swimming with it and also the armor stand you can use for other like Globe or other more and the bucket with axolth animation

I can tell theres a slight difference in animation and speed with both and the little details. FA seems to have walking and running animations that fit with the speed there going, as seen with the zombie and creeper. A&S on the other hand, has more detail in their work, more particles more effects, small details etc. Both packs are such amazing work! And both deserve the love and support there getting! 🙏
I try to find fresh animation on my bedrock but i didnt found it but when i realised fresh animation only work on java next day i just saw action and stuff launch trailer i was happy now i can play bedrock with animation mod😁

Action and Stuff has more of a bounce to it, this does wonders for it. And adding to that, they use particles to help convey the impact of some of the animations(like creeper exploding and the golem walking around)
I never expected to see Bedrock Edition getting something better than Fresh Animation! I hope for Java Players to be able to experience Action & Stuff on Java one day!
Fresh Animations resourcepack is more towards the vanilla feel, which I personally like. But Actions n' Stuff resourcepack is more towards overhauls. Although I respect it, I don't quite feel nice about it.
Fresh Animation is more faithful to the game trailers, because in the trailers, the buckets and some other items are not 3D, and in the Village and Village trailer, the villagers' expressions do not change much.

Just so you know, after the holidays, they're updating the A&S resource pack to remove a bunch of bugs, including the bug involving the Jellie cat variant having an offset texture in the compatibility subpack (64x setting in the subpack) and the missing texture bug involving the villagers and their hat layers.
I love how actions and stuff essentially mordernizes minecraft, making its visual charm look like it was actually made today by a passionate indie company
For me, AAS is cool by making everything look cartoony and FA makes the world feel more alive while keeping the original look of the game so I love them both!
with a&s you can disable the cartoony effect to make it look more vanilla and still have the animations,just set the pack resolution to 32x and you get rid of that horrible texture pack (thats what I do)

There's 3 option for the graphics it's vanilla, custom,and full version. And plus the reason it looks childish is because you're used to vanilla animation and not used seeing things having the much life and interaction

I have a bias in favor of Fresh because i watched the resource pack as it was devloped, eagerly awaiting each new update, whereas Actions and stuff just feels like an attempt to validate the existence of the Minecraft Marketplace. Just the fact that Actions and stuff is exclusively for bedrock and is not free is enough to make me settle for Fresh's albeit slightly inferior animations

well it's i think cem(?) that gives support to fresh anim. optifine has that. emf/etf replaces it so no need for optifine.
