Its interesting how underrail is probably one of the only crpg games where you dont get a single companion at all on your journey until now
for real, i think thats what makes the balance of the game feel so good, you're incentivized to break the game, as thats the only way to get past a group of 10 blow hards

That’s a great question, I have no idea. I don’t wanna content farm one of my favorite games, but there’s still a lot I could talk about. I’m thinking about doin a massive build vid, but I’m tryna figure out how to go about it without turning it into series or getting stale. Maybe even a lore vid, but that’ll take forever
I played heavy duty and I still don't even understand what the story of heavy duty is about
And as far as I know nobody really reacts to the new content

While the expedition was absolutely the opposite and of course I'm not saying that heavy duty have to be at the same scale of the expedition , of course not

One of the types of troops used by the Biocorp Corporation were clone troopers telepathically controlled by the commander (an obvious reference of FEAR),During the destruction of another corporation (the story of the expedition), the clones faced the void (Again, the story of the expedition), after which, led by their commander Cognator, they decided to devote their lives to fighting the void,then, during the fall of Biocorp, the clones captured Compromound and began to fight the void using psi (Well, they began to kill everyone who approaches their new base, just so that no one would interfere with saving the world), well, we just accidentally found their base, during which everyone died except protagonist and Gunslinger,after that, we either kill all the clones and steal their things, or help them win their battle with the void (To do this, you need to get to the Cognator without killing the clones and go through a difficult mini-game, which requires pumped-up thought control to win),after that, the clones go to rest (Specifically, they will sleep in cryocapsules), well, as a reward for help, we will again be able to pick up everything that was in the Compound (Unfortunately, some clones will decide not to sleep and still interfere with us, but there will be only a few squads + a squad of clones for combat training in a separate a room that can be summoned, they can be destroyed without any consequences), well, then we return back and if the Gunslinger is alive, he gives us his gun and goes back home to the northern underrail (His backstory is also part of the plot, but he quite clearly tells it).
@@funnydreadking9237 that’s the gist of it basically, there’s also lots of tidbits alluding to the fact that the compound was an inter corporation project with help from at least 2 other super corps, THAT is one of the most interesting parts imo (outside of the void fight but I don’t want to spoil it for others)
@@ZyphateLeKabaaj Yes+ there are also some interesting or just funny stories from the lives of Compromaund employees (For example, the director and his numerous awards, some of which can be sold to merchants), which are not very important for understanding what is happening, but add context to the location.
Reality check? Ive never had a single build with less than 15 strength, even on psi builds

I have not, i played a little bit through kingmaker a while back, but it didnt really sink its teeth into me like underrail or baldurs gate. How does it compare to kingmaker? cause i remember it coming out but i didnt hear anything about it outisde of like watching moonmoon play it for a day
