HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR GAS BLOWBACK PISTOL
• Video - Спорт
thank you for showing me how to use propane instead of greengas. i just got into airsoft and recently got my adapter and im excited!
Great unbiased, uncorrupted & honest review 100%
for some reason WE mags require more maintenance than others, or at least need to be taken aprt and maintained sooner than most. But once you do it the first time they should be good for a while. The hi capas are the ones that need it sooner than say the single stack ones.
been a chairsofter for quite some time but i just got my first blowback pistol. this vid reaffirmed everything i was planning to do concerning mag leaks and o ring trouble so thx for that. i bought a WE and am wondering if their mags were inherently worse than others? or people may not know how to take care of them (lube valves, keep gas in mag)
Get a silicone oil from an airsoft retailer. The silicone oil sold at hardware stores contain petroleum propellants and those damage o rings. If you do not have an adapter yet then I recommend "Airsoft Innovations" since it comes with its own bottle of oil.
"Use lubricant and get it in there"
Can I quote you on that?
Get in there son
“Red cap for protection”
Thank you so much for uploading this!! You have the exact same propane tank (coleman) and propane adapter that I intend to buy and use! You even demonstrated it on the same type of magazine I have!! lol what a coincidence
It was the same for me. I got the AI adaptor, but there are burrs on the end of the filler that connects into the tank. I went ahead and got the red one and I'm awaiting it's delivery.
No. Spray a small amount in ther then fill the mag and wind it up and shoot out the bbs. When your done either store the mag in the gun so no dirt can get into it or place the mags in a gunbag or pouch
Buy moon dog orings, see link in the description. They help seal the fill valve.
At a AIRSOFT retailer online like EVIKE or AIRSOFT GI If you get the Airsoft Innovations adapter it comes with its own oil to use. see the link in the description.
@JohnMatrixCommando I actually dont recommend using lube in where you put the bbs because for one it gets the bbs dirty and for two you might experience an increase in jams. Ive tried lubing the bb track in the magazine for my KWA m11a1 and i just experienced jam after jam in the magazine not the gun.
@JohnMatrixCommando i dont even use the spray unless im out of the liquid stuff. as far as i know airsoft shops are the only ones that carry the liquid kind. if u prefer spray, id say try the pforce one, its made for airsoft...but id still go with the liquid.
Thank you! this helps me a great deal
@JohnMatrixCommando silicone oil is just the pure form and i think you can only get them from airsoft stores
Hey , with that red adapter, when you install and use , can you unscrew it even if the tank still has gas in ?
yes, thanks for the response, i got one that works
Thank you sooooo much for this vid..........it's really helpful
I actually use Abbey 35 for my guns, spray for cleaning, dropper for lubricating and cleaning my GBBs
@Golph246 No, But they fit any standard camping small propane tank
from my experience with the plastic one, when filling a lot of mags the plastic can shatters very easily due to the cold temp.
Good cuz iv been thinking about the airsoft innovations
can you just use any silicon oil from an airsoft store? (High visosity, low viscosity, spray, drops?)
You should only use silicone oil from an airsoft store. Silicone oil from the hardware store has petroleum propellants that could damage rubber o rings.
The plastic ones also give you a better seal when filling so propane doesnt go eveywhere
I only kept one of them. the airsoft innovations for $19 and it comes with its own silicone oil.
Could I use an airline from the Coleman tank to the gun ???
How many mag refills do you get out of the coleman 453g bottle ?
I have a gun that has magazines that cant be filled with green gas because the gas port is too deep in, i was wondering if these adapters are longer than the built in green gas ones. please reply, thanks!
lovin the flower napkin bro so swag lol
Not sure. Any petroleum based silicone lube will dry our rubber o-rings. You can use any silicone lube for gears, slide rails etc, but on rubber buckings or valves with o-rings, you need airsoft silicone.
Do not use silicon oil for the BB's or parts they touch. It will mess up your hop-up if it's a little too much oil. Then you have inconsitent BB flight until it's out again.
I need help i have a plastic one every time i put into my airsoft rifle mag the gas is like escape alot out site so what do i do?????
i got a question man, my 1911, when using propane only shoots like 2-3 b4 it runs out of gas ( holding propane tank for at least 10 second+), but when i use green gas from stores, like 5 seconds can last me a mag and a half. i use ur method and the original way, whats ur view on this?
Cool.Helpul.Thanks!
hey everytime i use the sapien arms (the green one in your vid) and i fill my mag, when im done filling it, and i pull out, gas spews all over. how do i stop this??
what lube oil did you use or which one would you recomend?
Thanksss this helped me alot :)
Good video but I suggest not to spray the silicon in the bb channel or the magazine lip.
If the BBs get to much silicon the hopup can't give them enough spin and the accuracy decreases
i have the middle one but i can’t seem to get the magazine to fill any propane.
the plastic one is the best
Do you have a WE 1911? Because lots of people complain about the fill valve being to deep. If you get the Airsoft Innovations propane adapter, it comes with the extension. :)
is the motomaster silicone lube ok for maintenance of my gbb guns??please reply thanks!already subscribed.
can u use industrial silicon oil (from home depot)
Where do u get the the adapter
@eljefe209music hey so would silicone oil for shock absorbers from a rc store work?
yes
What that silicone oil called in the back?
it's weird when i'm try to order a airsoft Gr 14 gbb at ur site it's keep saying please select ur payment method when i'm already SELECTED THE VISA PAYMENT and fill the info in already i dont get this why ????
Can I use any household Silicone Lubricant???
Where did you buy the silicone
i used the plastic one, and within a single week the plastic spring stopper snapped off...so cheap. i just used some metal rings to replace the plastic that broke and it works fine but dam...1 week!
do you know what size the threads are ?
Any propane gas is fine. I think the preston smells less than the coleman, but they basically are the same thing.
Where can you get silicone oil?
I dont think my adapter is working. its tightened good and lubed lol but it wont fill 😭
How much propane would an AEG GBB gun use in one day
Yes, but you must ensure it is food safe grade. IE not petroleum based.
I wouldnt put silicon oil in the bb follower. The oil will fuck with the bbs. If you need to clean the area, take it apart and clean it out with a damp wet paper towel, q tips or a small rag and use a can of compressed air if you have it. I use a little bit silicon oil in 4.5mm metal bb double stack mag followers because most air guns don't have hopups and the barrel tolerances are better
@JoshdaROCKSTAR9999VS did u even read my comment?? lol i said dont use SPRAY silicone. obviously u need to use silicone oil, but i recommended using the pure silicone, the thick stuff, like that which comes with a kwa pistol.
do you guy ship airsofr to canada ?
You can't stop it. that is just they way the Sapien Arms one is designed.
Is it possible to refill the propane tank with compressed air like from an air compressor or would that be a bad idea?
Bad idea. The canisters aren't designed to handle compressed air pressure
hey john i see you have 3 adapters can u send me one please
is there something else i can add to the setup to kill some of that smell? feels like i'm powering my gun with farts...
Chew some mint gum lol
@eljefe209music So the spray use petroleum propellents? How does the silicone oil that airsoft shops sell work? Is the only place to get the spray at airsoft shops?
You can get the spray from all sorts of places but they almost all have petroleum distillates that will eventually break down the plastics. Use silicone shock fluid instead, it can be had at any hobby shop and you can usually get at least 6x as much for the same price.
No, that would ruin the o rings inside the magazine.. Need to use airsoft (non- Petroleum based) silicone.
i use a plastic one now i had a metal one it broke my fill valve
Im from Jamaica they dont have propane small tanks here nor can i ship it with propane, Can any one please help me?
Orane Johnson Use green gas. Yeah, more pricier but your only choice.
now I need these things :I
To igolf21 a aeg gbb?????
There's also the added benefit of the weird metallic fart smell. It's addictive.
Yes. I buy propane just to release it into my room because it’s so good. Only problem is one spark can blow up my room.
EVIKE, AIRSOFT GI, AIRSOFT MEGASTORE.
I have drops and not spray how many frops should I use
To be safe you best put 2-3 drops in the bottom opening valve every 8 or so mags :)
its awosme that like the propane in a to pack is like only $5
What happens if it leaks out the propane bottle
First it will smell like somebody farted into your nostrils.
Then boom.
Bad day to be a smoker.
This is highly unlikely tho, those things are made to be carried to hiking trips.
Where do u get silicon oil
hard wear stores but it needs to be 100%
just a word of advice, dont use that silicone spray. sprays use a petroleum based propellant, which is doing harm to your internals. it will work but eventually you'll run into problems. use only 100% silicone oil,not stuff you can buy from any hardware store. i used to use the spray but its not worth it, it ruined my kwa glock, and after calling their tech support they determined that was the issue. the spray propellant eats away at any plastic internals. just passing along some hints :)
Are these only online
Check any outdoor/hiking shop.
Spray
Airsoft Innovations. $20 EVIKE or airtsoft GI
Why can you not use compressed air
Couse u play nerf
Not enough pressure, when you flip the tank upside down its so liquid propane can flow into the mags. That is one of the great things about propane, at relatively low pressure it turns to liquid which means you can punt more in.
does this propane can contains butane?
Can you use WD-40
no
no, god no.
Lol metal one might damage it funny how the green gas ones are metal
Probably not a good idea
.
Thats going to be the most inaccurate pistol in the world night as well have said your mags sill thanks you and now you have to clean your barrel every shot literally even oiling the bb slot in the mag, greasy bbs are inaccurate bbs and a barrel killer
NO, NO, NO, NEVER USE WD-40. It will destroy the o-rings in your magazine.
Don’t ever put silicone on the bb loading channel people that’s terrible advice
man you're smoking hard, are'nt you ?
No just fat. Lost 50 pounds. much better
oh wow sorry..
no problem Im much better now.!! Always remember to exercise all throughout your life. its much better to do that.
This video sounds so sexual at times omg...
Boring
