I hope everyone enjoyed this video of my college stats. Each college I was able to get in was by the glory of God! The process of getting into college was difficult, but a rememberable process. With hard work, anyone can get into these top schools!

Oof. I've had straight As in honors and standard classes until junior year. Im doing tennis/a tutoring program for immigrants/honors+dual enrollment college courses/and plan to do more clubs and services. It still feels like I'm behind everybody else no matter how hard I work but I'm still hopeful

You absolute goat. I live in the same county, haha. I'm looking into a lot of colleges that you got into, like Wake Forest and UNC and UVA. Do you have any tips?
1. Start on your essays early, make sure you do not write about generic topics
2. Still take the SAT, ACT, and AP Tests and get the highest score possible
3. Try to have activities around your major
4. Find the right teachers to write a special recommendation for you, you would have to find these teachers earlier before you apply
5. Apply to a good amount of colleges, atleast 10, a mix of safety, target, and reach schools

These videos are nice man. I know I’m late but I just had a question if you could answer it in whatever way you know. Basically I’ve dropped all my sports now (I’m a sophomore in high school). I’m lined up for a heavy dose of AP courses the next two years, and am I’m the national honors society. I also have a summer job I’ve kept for three years and will likely continue with through high school, as well as a few hobbies I’m very passionate about but don’t do competitively. Do you think this is enough extracurricular activity to get into a place like UVA. It’s my top school at the moment and was wondering if I should pick up something like student government in my junior and/or senior year. Thx
I would focus on getting leadership positions now and I would do student government also, it couldn’t hurt

I took more than four exams, but only submitted my best scores which applied to my major of Econ or Business Analytics
I am so scared now 😭 I am not shooting for an ivies but my dream school is an ivy, UPenn, so I was trying to see if I had a chance… I am a freshman in highschool and my grades are so bad rn 💀
My grades:
Hon. French 4: A+
AP U.S History: A-
Hon. Geometry: B
Hon. English 9: A-
Physical Ed: A+
Hon. Biology: A
Ceramics: A+
I am planning on focusing mainly on math next quarter so my semester grade can be an A, so I can finish off the semester with a 4.0 🙏

Congratulations on your academics. My younger brother just graduated from high school this year in May. Great job with the video. I will be getting my AA degree next year in the spring. After I complete my AA degree in general studies, I will be in a BA program for radio television and journalism. I have been studying at a community college for 6 years. You should take a look at my stats video from this year in April in that way you can get to know about me. I am a military child, so I moved from state to state from age 5 through 21. During my high school experiences, I did not take APs nor honors courses due to my move. I was born in the west side of New York. I lived there for 5.5 years. I lived in 5 different states for 2-3 years, Virginia for 6-7 months, and Puerto Rico for a year. For right now, I’m living in Florida. I have been living in Florida for 2 years. Again, you did a great job with the video. I grew up with Individual Educational Plan (IEP) due to my diagnosed with autism at age 3. Wish you are the best at university wherever you go. How do you remember everything you've done in highschool or is it all on your transcript ?
I compromised a resume of all the activities, clubs, and sports I did over the years. I started my resume at 10th grade to remember these things

That's some crazing weighting. At my school a 4.0 would be a 4.1 in an honors class, and a 4.33 for AP.
no, 4.5 for honors and 5.0 for AP is the norm across most schools.

I'm surprised you were accepted into those schools with those stats, despite the extracurriculars you had. Students in my junior class feel like they don't have a shot at ivy-level schools with SATs of 1500+, rank top 10/1000 (above average district), extracurriculars through the roof...

Lol your extra curricular activities list was interesting...I sadly spent the whole of my 11th grade and half of 12th grade in online classses...so the only extra curricular activities I can put are from 9 and 10 🥲
