Thanks for this I have a high idle issue and I suspect this gasket is the issue cause when i spray fluid on it the idle lowers. But this video made me realize Autozone gave me 2 of the wrong gaskets and found the one I really needed thanks to your video. Interestingly enough it says it won't fit my geo but we'll see about that

Long shot: I know this video is old, but I'm curious what the problem was with the car. Also, I have a problem with my own 93 and could use some advice or video links about it. Thank you

@@hanksgarage_ thank you very much for replying! I've searched far and wide, with no clues as to the problem with mine.
Mine acts like it has a flooded carburetor, even though it's injected. I have to crank if for a while with full throttle to get it to start, and it won't rev above idle. I can gradually ease back on the throttle somewhat, but it still won't rev. Then it dies after a short time.
I thought the injector had been leaking, so I replaced it, but it won't run any better. I'm out of guesses and don't know any reputable local mechanic; just a bunch of part swappers. Already spent $330 on a local who actually did nothing, made things worse, and I had to correct his work [and got to keep some hose clamps and 2 feeler gauges he left under my hood]. New fuel filter, plugs and wires, a few new sensors already.

@@jamesengland7461 you may have a cracked block, or possibly is your timing belt to tight? It would be squeaking like crazy
