Good job Vincenzo. You kept an open mind. The Filipino spaghetti is a cultural thing. It is present in all Filipino celebrations. It is easy to make, cheap, and filling. Filipinos, like Italians, love to celebrate and food will always be at the center of it. The Filipino taste is simple, it has to be sweet or salty, or both! If they write "Tomato Puree (Water, Tomato Paste)" that means there is more water in there than actual tomatoes...Because the most used ingredient usually comes first in labelling. Important ingredient missing is the banana ketchup
oh, is it an important ingredient?
@@vincenzosplate i'm not a pro cook by any means, but most home recipes have that banana ketchup, even fastfood type filipino spaghettis has those but different homes have different recipes, .. i guess in this video there's no need because sauce is already sweet.
here's a bit of history of filipino style spag in case you're curious www.hungryhuy.com/filipino-spaghetti/

Hahaha thank you a lot!
I am a Filipino. Sometimes I cook Italian pasta and sometimes Filipino Pasta. We like it both ways 😊
I think it's great that you enjoy cooking both Italian and Filipino pasta dishes. It shows that you have a wide appreciation for different cuisines and flavors.
Filipinos love to use either kraft(or other processed cheese), parmesan, mozarella and in special occasions a ball of aged Edam cheese.
I don't like processed cheese 🙈🙈
The moment I've been waiting for! Hahaha
Hahahah have you enjoyed the video?? 😁
That Filipino Sweet Spaghetti looks appetizing to me 😋
🤢🤢🤢 not to me!

Thank you so much 😍
If you don't like hotdogs on your spaghetti you can always use sausage as substitute like you said its okay to use sausage for Filipino style Spaghetti. 👍
Oh, thank you a lot!
LOL! I can't believe you watched that. The thing is, kids usually love everything sweet and in the Philippines, kids are used to sweet spaghetti. I love all kinds of pasta. I love authentic italian style spaghetti. But every once in a while, I get to eat sweet spaghetti, a taste of my childhood years...
You should really try FILIPINO SWEET STYLE SPAGHETTI its awesomely gooooooood!!! Its my favorite.
Next time I will!!
