It was funny at the end when she left, some of the dogs were enjoying our attention and all of a sudden they realized she had left and they all just looked at us like, "Hey, this is fun, but she feeds us. Bye!" LOL
It does give a different perspective on things. We had a few glitches at the beginning, blue cast to everything, but once we got it all worked out, we are quite fond of it. Not right for everything, but it provides a nice break of the standard look. Thanks for watching.
I love your new toy , your video looks so professional I am Mexican and I do not know half of the places that have been shown to us, the video is beautiful I love how the city looks, it is a beautiful city, if there is one thing I love about Mexico it is the churches and cathedrals. I have never been on a cruise and probably never will be because I prefer to see the cities Great video Gina 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 be very careful, do not trust too much because it is like any other city with its county I am always praying for all foreigners
So glad that we are able to show some of the beauty that Mexico has to offer. And the more we travel, it just keeps opening our eyes to more and more places. Thanks, she is having a lot of fun with the new camera and we really do like the unique perspective that it provides. Don't worry, we are having fun but are also always cognizant of what is going on around us. Thanks for watching.
Gratitude for another lovely video! Muchas gracias! I'm not positive, but think the church gift shops may be something Catholic churches do to help support the church. Years ago I visited Saint Patrick's in NYC - and was surprised they had a gift shop. It was the first and only time I've ever seen one...until your videos. Looking forward to your next video. :)
Thank you Audrey. She was actually beating herself up a little as she felt is wasn't up to her standards. Your comment will brighten her day. Glad that you liked it!
I thought that you were filming with something different. Thanks for that nice tour through Centro, I love the architecture and the cobblestone roads (that look decent to walk on). As always, the food looks delicious!

Catedral Metropolitana de San Luis Rey is dedicated to St. Louis King of France. That would be the likely reason for that motif. Good eye! There were other buildings with French references as well. The city and state are named for King Louie the IX of France.
I have a question. I believe that in an early video of yours or an interview, you mentioned that when in the US while deciding where to live, Mark had some concern over the higher elevations. This has been a concern for me as well. I have only ever lived at sea level. How has it been in those elevations? Is that still a factor in your decision about where to live? Do you acclimate quickly? Any health issues? I apologize if this was already discussed in a subsequent video.
Don't apologize Brenda, my Dad used to tell me that the only dumb question was the one you didn't ask, because you still didn't know the answer. Yes, I was concerned about the altitude because most of the early locations were two to three times higher than where we were in the Smoky Mountains of NC. Neither one of us had any real issues acclimating to the elevation. There were a few times early on, Almealco fo example, where climbing those hills were a little bit of work. That also could have been attributed to our more sedentary lifestyle in the US. That was about all we noticed really. Thanks for the question.
@@brendakipling7733 LOL We know that feeling Brenda. That is why we are spending 4 years looking for the right spot. We believe that when we find it, we will know in our hearts that it is the right spot for us.

Great video as always. My daughter and I started our one month stay in Centro Queretaro. Your videos from Queretaro are a great help! Thank you!
Thank you. Glad that they were able to assist you. Queretaro is a great place. Enjoy it!
Really cool video from your new toy Gina!!

Just Wow, Amazing!
It really is an amazing city. We loved the mixture of old and new in San Luis Potosi. Glad that we could share with all of you.
cool shots! great job!
Thank you very much Karyn. It was a fun day.

It was at that Elsa. We had a blast. Good friends and a good time.

Thank you. I believe that you are correct. Anything that they can add to the coffers goes a long way. Hopefully we will be dropping one this weekend.
Thank you, two. I really enjoyed this video. The camera work is stunning to say the least. Gina, you’re a “straight-up Pro”.

Aww, I love the woman who rescues the dogs. ❤❤
Yes, and the dogs just adored her. She does a wonderful job taking care of them and they are very appreciative of her efforts. Thanks for watching.
New toy = good investment 😊
I agree Journey. It really does give a very different perspective on things but in a very positive way.

That is one of the things that we loved about San Luis Potosi is that it was so easily walked. A mix of old and new and yes, the food was great.
Another terrific showcase of Mexican Art and food! Thanks for always taking us along for the ride!
Glad to take you there Diana. We really did enjoy San Luis Potosi and the city has a lot to offer.

It was a great time hanging with GringosRUs and Two travelers in Mexico! Thanks for showing us around
It was totally our pleasure. Anytime we get to see the two of you just makes our day!
I don't remember the tranvia tour being that bumpy....I must have my own cushioning lol
Those of us with NO padding can really attest to the fact that it was bumpy. LOL
Great video. The food looks great. Mark you need to stop orderingv. steak..lol
Yeah, like that is going to happen Christi. Me loves me some beef. Lol. Thanks
@GringosRUs I guess if you can eat well done meat you can survive. I like mine a medium rare, not hard and dry lol
@@christigallup2175 I could live with that if I had to. I like mine to moo a little on the plate. LOL
Kudos to whomever did the video editing
Thank you Glenn. She wasn't feeling really good about this one so that will make her day.
Group of "vagabonds" Rollin down the streets...lol
👍🤠✌️
Band of gypsies rolling down the highway. LOL
😋gorditas
She definitely did like the gorditas. And they are just a block down the street from the house.
I had a chicken salad 😊
LOL, I thought that was right, but we weren't 100% sure. Hope all is going well for the two of you.
Are there any train tracks that you come upon in Mexico?
Oh God yes. They do a lot of freight movement by rail here in Mexico. In fact there is a huge rail yard there in San Luis Potosi.
At 9:18 we noticed fleur de lis on the window of the cathedral. Do you know why that would be? Seemed odd

Good to know. I am arriving this month and still so confused about where to live, largely due to concern about the altitude. This helps. ♡
