I am jealous. I am Mexican and I am trapped in Pennsylvania for 33 years. And you are enjoying the cool town of Huatulco, Oaxaca Mexico, in those beautiful beaches and delicious food. I wish I could be there. Congratulations! I am waiting for my turn,
And you know what you are missing Ismael! It truly is a wonderful place in a beautiful country. Hopefully you will be able to return home soon and enjoy the fabulous life that Mexico offers.
We always stopped at Xipol for wings and frozen strawberry margies when we ran into La Crucecita for groceries.... We had our RV 45 minutes away in a very rural area on one of the bays, Bahia de San Agustin.
Thank you Jana. We try to share each location with all of you in a fair and honest light. There are always warts in any location and there are also those magical places. Everything needs to be shown so that if someone wanted to truly assess the town, they at least have a solid starting spot.
Just visited Huatulco last month. It’s been a favorite destination spot for the past 20 years. Bought many alebrijes in “ Artes Pacheco “ on Flamboyant st. Literally the best in all Huatulco 😊
We liked it a lot as well. It was a little humid while we were there, but we wanted to be there when it was at its worst and we got to experience that. But the vibe in the city is fantastic.
When we were in Morelia, there was cucumber in our limonada also, yummy! Nice that you found the plumeria, they are so beautiful, and you found jasmine too, how lucky. I keep hearing bad things about Google maps in Mexico, such a shame that you were walking so far. So far Huatulco looks really nice, looking forward to more videos!
Gina, I loved your reaction to the Plumeria blossom. yes, it is perfume and every time I see them, I am reminded of my first trip to Hawaii when I discovered them. so grateful that I could still smell back then. .. Anyways You are both brave to visit La Crucecita Huatulco in the Warmer season... I understand why it might be important to do this as if you were to make it your permanent home you need that "worst case scenario" However after watching Cindy and Fred for years, I have decided to make sure I go during the coolest season... which is still going to be WARM but perhaps lower Humidity. Love your videos!! That Mexcal drink looked amazing! anyways... YEAH... Lovely video!
Thanks Diana. Our thought process is that if we love it at it's worst, then we are great in the good season. Only by experiencing it will we ever really know. We thought it was hot on the other coast, but so far, this is the warmest location. There are so many positives here in Huatulco though.
Awesome video. I will be following you for at least the rest of this trip as Huatulco is on the top of my list so far to retire. I prefer heat over cool/cold. ☺♥
I'm hoping y'all will be posting more videos in the Huatulco area. I'm planning to move there after I retire. It's always good to get other folks perspective on places. Any info is appreciated about this wonderful paradise! Gracias Gringos, Jefferino
We have about 4 more that we are going to be doing regarding Huatulco if my memory is correct. It is a fabulous little place for sure. Glad that you enjoyed it.
The humidity is above 63% year-round! 65% and up is considered very uncomfortable. The June - November months average in the 80s. That is just... unreal.
@@bellonamars2541 Thanks for that valuable data. LOL, the skin test was telling us that it was hot and humid. We love everything else about this lovely coastal town.

@@GringosRUs Hola Mark y Gina! Remember that it is illegal to smoke in public places in Mexico. It's a relatively new law so I'm not sure on how strictly it will be enforced. BTW- I've stayed at a few of the smaller hotels in Las Crucecita when I come down there to surf some of the places on the way South towards Salina Cruz and it's always been steaming hot. I've also surfed in my birthday suit while visiting in Playa Zipolite that's just South of there. It's close to another small beach town called Mazunte that are both great little beaches to visit and you can always smell smoke in the air but it's not from cigars or cigarettes! If you two ever decide to make it to Ensenada look me up and I'll show you around town and treat you to lunch at the World famous La Guerrerense seafood stand that Anthony Bourdain claimed as being the best in the World!. Its 74 as I type this and it has only gotten up into the 80's a few times so far this year. It usually warms up here in late summer and the forecast says it will be up into the 90's next week. We'll see...Being a Weatherman or Weatherwoman is a great gig, you can always be wrong and still get paid! Mucha suerte desde la hermosa Ensenada!
There are places to rent that are reasonable. Watch Life in Huatulco. They are always showing places for rent here. It can be expensive depending upon what your needs or wants are Bill. We have seen some homes that are just amazing, but then the price to go with them would equal that amazement. LOL
I was looking last night on Inmuebles24 and the first thing I noticed was a LACK of listed properties (which are probably being listed by US and Canadian realtor companies). What I did find was a very modest place without a view for $250,000 USD. There were some very nice condo community apartments and casas with community pool and maybe a sea view starting at $500,000 and up from there. I didn't see any single family home on private property with beach/sea view listed, but you can expect prices into $1 million USD. There is a LOT of construction in the area too. ~Gina
@@Deltron6060 I don't think that it immediately does cross it off the list, but when decision time comes, it will be a factor to consider. Huatulco has so many positive things going for it though.
