I remember as a kid, I was absolutely obsessed with the Power Rangers RPM morpher, specifically the green/black ranger’s version of the morpher, it was by far (and probably still is) my favorite ranger morpher lmaooo
In regards to the original Power Morpher I think I like the Lightning Collection version better than the Legacy Collection version for one reason. The Legacy Collection coins aren't a consistent size, so they can fall out (including my own not all fitting snuggly despite being sold in the box together brand new). You don't get that issue with the tabs of the original toy or the new Lightning Collection version. As someone who might like to use my Morpher for roleplay or cosplay I would very much prefer to not risk losing my coins because I jostle the thing a bit
In regards to the turbo morpher, the key itself has a spring loaded opening mechanism, but I very much remember the section that rotates also being spring loaded.
I actually had Tommy's dino mopher as a kid, came with the spinosaurus faceplate as well, took me ages to get the motions right and work without missing thr keyhole
Yeah I agree with the buying of pervious morphers. I'm in the process of doing a version of the Red samurai ranger that I use for Dungeon and Dragons, I had to spend 50 bucks on ebay because no where else didn't have them available
Let’s Morphin’. Henshin Da!!!! Get it, because, Tokumei Sentai Go - Busters, the, at the time of Beast Morphers Season 1’s release, 7 year old Sentai counterpart to Beast Morphers, with its transformation call of, “Let’s Morphin’!”, not only referenced @Power Rangers Official in general, but, also, was the official translation of the, “Henshin Da!!!”, phrase used in the Japanese dub versions of @Power Rangers Official, with the Japanese characters for the phrase being the Deluxe Morphin’ Brace’s, or, Beast - X Morpher in America, box. In the alternate reality of the Go - Busters V - Cinema direct to video epilogue film Go - Busters Returns VS Dobutsu Sentai Go - Busters, whereby the malicious computer virus known as Messiah did not attack, the device is still present, but the transformation call has been changed to, “Animal Change!”, and, unlike in the main Go - Busters world, the Brace does not speak.
I think the only morphers I ever owned were McDonald's toys. I had a MMPR movie one that came with the ninjetti coins, then I randomly found an OO one on the side of the road. Loved them both to pieces. Wore and played with Mighty Morphin as a kid. I thought the Operation Overdrive morpher was cool in its show.
i always wished the doron changer was adapted as a morpher for the alien rangers, makes lots of sense considering it's esentially the same as the original (coin based)
That's one of my favorite morphers actually as it's easily hidden and it more or less is a compact version of the Dino Buckler. It's known as an inro in Japan and it was a purse essentially and they were handmade and nice looking things to have. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inro
I think they even used the Legacy Morpher back in the Dimensions in Danger special, so it's been screen accurate for a couple years longer even. Though it's pretty far in the background when Rocky uses it. But I think even the Master Morpher is just a modified Legacy Morpher.
I'd argue that the idea with reinventing the franchise is that sometimes you forego the staples of the franchise for the sake of something different. Also, if anything, I think lack of morphers encourages play in children who can't afford all the roleplay toys. I feel like of all the season Wildforce shouldn't have had morphers. Or at the very least not cellphones. They're a team of mystic, animal powered rangers who fight for the environment, I feel like their morpher shouldn't be something technological that ends up on trash heaps, and is often thrwon away by people to get a better model.
I think there's an issue with translating PR when it comes to the morphers. Like think about it: In Zyuranger, they're ancient tribal people who are gifted their powers by divine beings, so it makes sense why the morpher is so ornate and looks/functions the way it does. But for PR, it's all technology, so why the morpher looks and acts the way it does is strange in comparison.
@@mouthyschannel2474 I mean Zordon is also ancient. And I'm pretty sure the environmental mmessage was also present in Wildforce's source material. Don't know about cellphones.
The coolest morpherer as of now is the Ohger Callibur including the Zero as well as the Kumunos Slayer. The design is not only cool but also very luxurious.
This was a super fun list! I haven’t been able to keep up with Power Rangers since I was a kid, so it was really cool to see and learn about all these different morphers. I agree with almost all of your list as well, with only a couple personal changes. Just me, I don’t care for the Dino Charge pistol morpher as it seems a little bulky and complex for what I like, so it would be lower. I’m also not a huge fan of the key based morphers, with the exception of Turbo because it fit the theme so well with its look and gimmick, because inserting and/or twisting the keys isn’t as easy as just pushing a button or making a single gesture to activate it. I also love the Mystic morpher a lot, and it’s in my personal top 3, because the cell phone gimmick served 3 different purposes as a morpher, a phone, and a magic wand that I think worked really well, and it’s functions were simple and quick to use. To me it’s the most unique and multifunctional morpher of them all in that regard, because even other cell phone morphers that were actually used as phone didn’t really have a third function the same way
My favorite will always be Dino Charge. Yeah, it’s not inconspicuous, but a Morpher that is a laser gun, shotgun and able to become a sword, all-in-one is just too good to pass up. 2nd would be Silver Super MegaForce’s with the Mystic Morphers in 3rd place. While, for Ninja Steel, I prefer when the Ninningers used their swords, I get why it became the Battle Stars as it’s easier to conceal.
7:55 I had the Samuriazer back in the day and I remember it very vividly, that it had a gimmick. It could turn into a “brush” mode like Lauren’s one in the show.
These were the morphers/Rangers I grew up with. I love their concept, but even more so, I wish they kept the feature from the Super Sentai version where the phones turned into brushes. I like that Lauren had it, but I wish all of them did. It's such a cool visual, especially as they paint the Kanji in the air to transform or do literally anything.
The power coin tabs are probably to keep the coins in there, as evident with the behind the scenes morph, in once and always, of when the power coin falls out . Though maybe they could have made it lockable from the back? Who knows
I absolutely love the Gosei Morpher. It might be because I bought a lot of the Megaforce line, but it was so much fun and I really do like the design. What I love about the US toy line though is being able to connect it with the Gosei Ultimate Megaozord to create a base to display Gosei and the Rangers. Which I thought was super cool.
I pssed down to my nehphew my old robo knight and 2012 troy fig, and my old dragon zord balster I was a big fan if megaforce and power rangers libe from 2012-2017(emd of super dino charge) since then. Blah. Like after dino. It just feels out of date
personally like the more simplistic wrist morphers. my favourite is either the lightspeed or turbo morpher. if we're counting special rangers, the titanium morpher is cool design wise too!
Yes we need an electronics specialist for the Mobirate to attach a Sp card port and apply/reassign sounds! Since we a 3d Print a mobirate now, this is the last step!
The recent movie is, like, a Showa Driver but with a gimmick. Not a Changer/Morpher, a Driver. I think it woulda looked kinda cool worn as a belt, but I would never have thought that if I wasn't more of a Kamen Rider fan than a Sentai/P. Ranger fan. Shoot, with all the swirling, it kinda reminds me of Agito's Altering!
Honestly mostly came here to watch where the Dino morphers ended up. I think they should've been nr 1. But that's also because Power Rangers Dino Thunder was my first PR show
I always ended up getting the special ranger morphers. I had the howling wolf, the green samurai, Tommy’s black Dino Thunder morpher. It was really hard to get a hold of any morphers as a kid
So in the new movie they used a direct access morph so that’s why they didn’t need it kinda boring that way but maybe they couldn’t designed the morphers in time or maybe the rangers would get their morphers in the sequel but to bad that’s never going to happen.
strange how in dino charge the main team had a gun and the 6th ranger had a wrist mounted morpher and in dino fury the main team had a wrist mounted morpher and the 6th ranger had a gun
When I was younger I had the blue and gold bandai solar mobile Morpher blade from mystic force alongside the overdrive tracker loved both can't remember for the life of me what happened to them
i got my mystic force morpher for a £1 in a car boot sale a few weeks ago and replaced my red ranger in my Phoenix Unizord in total spent £2 and then said to guy his spd morpher marked to low needs to be £10 plus
Actually the gold Zeo ranger sometimes does have a morphier it's very inconsistent and sometimes he's a very similar arm braces to the rangers and then sometimes he uses the staff and same thing with the arm movements it's also very inconsistent but sometimes he does sometimes he doesn't but I think it is widely assumed that Jason himself is the Morpher as unlike the normal zero rangers were part of the there zeo crystals were putting their Morphers his powers were just transferred directly into his body with the staff directing them to his body
I honestly really like the jungle fury morpher. It was a good idea for kids who’s parents couldn’t afford to get them a morpher toy to still be able to imagine they were a power ranger. Just grab a pair of sunglasses and let their imagination take control
Hey dude, you might find it interesting that the korean mobirates is the only version of the accurate Japanese mold that says the words "Power Ranger!" So technically it is the closest to a western super megaforce morpher with an accurate mold
One Piece was reaching the end of Part 1 when Gokaiger was developed. So that's why. Fun fact: Doggie Kruger was the inspiration for the Pokemon Lucario.
I like the wrist ones best since you just wear them and don't have to pull them out of a pocket or something. I like the 2017 morpher better than the Samurai one that feels like a Burger King toy, , the Jungle Fury sunglasses that you just put on, or the dumb Megaforce head/phone thing that you just put a card into. At least the 2017 has movable parts that do something and the coins look cool. The Dino Fury morpher sucks compared to the BoJ one, and I wouldn't have gotten the Super Megaforce version of the Gokaiger phone just from it not having the pirate symbol not opening up, even more so because that's my least favorite season. Dino Thunder black and the Titanum morpher were my favorites as a kid and I hope one day we get good quality remakes of them.
About Bandai's 2017 movie morpher. The tech they used in that is the same tech that they used in a lot of their Showa era Kamen Rider belt reworks. Namely the original Typhoon Belt and the Arcle from Kamen Rider Kuuga. So they just made a retooled casing and sound chip to go along with a lot of the similar lighting construction. Of course adding the opaque "coin" concept. Not saying its a good design. Just saying thats what they did.
When you talking about Morphers from Power Rangers I personally just think of changers from super sentai and by the way, super sentai is The source material of Power Rangers
When I was a kid, my Dino Thunder morpher toy didn't let the mouth stay open like it did on the show. I don't know if mine was just broken out of the box or if it was just supposed to be like that.

This is a great video. Even if I'm not certain you know what "objectively" means. :p
Been thinking of buying a morpher and remembered your poll from the other day.
Amazing video, just a little sad my favorite rangers ranked so low (Jungle fury)
Yeah I agree with the buying of pervious morphers. I'm in the process of doing a version of the Red samurai ranger that I use for Dungeon and Dragons, I had to spend 50 bucks on ebay because no where else didn't have them available
Its Morphing Time!
In space should be in the top 5. That morpher is near perfection
The original power morpher is my absolute favorite. You just can't beat the old classics.
So glad the Mystic Force Morhper was so high on the list. My favotire PR series
I hope your spd review comes up fast man miss your content man
For me: dino thunder, mighty Morphin, dino charge, and SPD Morphers are my favorites in power rangers.
i always wished the doron changer was adapted as a morpher for the alien rangers, makes lots of sense considering it's esentially the same as the original (coin based)
That's one of my favorite morphers actually as it's easily hidden and it more or less is a compact version of the Dino Buckler.
The design is not only cool but also very luxurious.
the 2017 movie rangers did have their morphers, they were built into the belt of their suits and held their power coins in place.
Other way around. Conspicuous means it stands out. Inconspicuous is when something is easily overlooked.
7:55 I had the Samuriazer back in the day and I remember it very vividly, that it had a gimmick. It could turn into a “brush” mode like Lauren’s one in the show.
Shotophone. I actually have 1 somewhere. I thought it was one of the coolest morphers ever.
I pssed down to my nehphew my old robo knight and 2012 troy fig, and my old dragon zord balster
I was a big fan if megaforce and power rangers libe from 2012-2017(emd of super dino charge) since then. Blah. Like after dino. It just feels out of date
Happy Meal's (or was it burger king?) morpher had the animal power coins. The coins were pretty good but the morpher is super thin.
I love the dino thunder one. I had the black dt one as a kid loved it
personally like the more simplistic wrist morphers. my favourite is either the lightspeed or turbo morpher. if we're counting special rangers, the titanium morpher is cool design wise too!
Crazy how ahead mmpr was.. with the wrist communicators being like Apple Watches
Yes we need an electronics specialist for the Mobirate to attach a Sp card port and apply/reassign sounds! Since we a 3d Print a mobirate now, this is the last step!
how love to see you rank Kamen rider HENSHIN belts
The recent movie is, like, a Showa Driver but with a gimmick. Not a Changer/Morpher, a Driver. I think it woulda looked kinda cool worn as a belt, but I would never have thought that if I wasn't more of a Kamen Rider fan than a Sentai/P. Ranger fan.
Shoot, with all the swirling, it kinda reminds me of Agito's Altering!
Honestly mostly came here to watch where the Dino morphers ended up. I think they should've been nr 1. But that's also because Power Rangers Dino Thunder was my first PR show
OG all the way! The best is Tommy’s that has all his suits!
Samuraizer seems way cheap compared to Shinkenger seeing it can't change into a brush from folding it
I always ended up getting the special ranger morphers. I had the howling wolf, the green samurai, Tommy’s black Dino Thunder morpher. It was really hard to get a hold of any morphers as a kid
I'm pretty sure the Super Samurai Morpher can be turned into a caligraphy pen phone which actually looks really cool.
yea i was rlly sad that wasn’t mentioned in the video
Not in the US version
lol ur new haircut is 2 funny ah ah
Nice video now make another one for special rangers
THE GOLD ZEO RANGER HAS A MORPHER!!!!
So in the new movie they used a direct access morph so that’s why they didn’t need it kinda boring that way but maybe they couldn’t designed the morphers in time or maybe the rangers would get their morphers in the sequel but to bad that’s never going to happen.
Jungle Fury morph sunglasses?
Now now the zeo gold rangers morpher is his staff
strange how in dino charge the main team had a gun and the 6th ranger had a wrist mounted morpher and in dino fury the main team had a wrist mounted morpher and the 6th ranger had a gun
I know it would be way harder but what’s the chance we get a tierlist for the super Sentai counterparts?
When I was younger I had the blue and gold bandai solar mobile Morpher blade from mystic force alongside the overdrive tracker loved both can't remember for the life of me what happened to them
Lovely content mate
i got my mystic force morpher for a £1 in a car boot sale a few weeks ago and replaced my red ranger in my Phoenix Unizord in total spent £2 and then said to guy his spd morpher marked to low needs to be £10 plus
one thing to the samurai morpher: it would be cool if there was an projector in the front to print the sign on a wall
They did release the ninja animal coins as a fast food toy. I used to have all of them
Had no idea they were making an abaranger memorial edition. Let us know when it's up for pre-order and where we can get it.
probably expect it to be revealed this fall since the 20 years after movie comes out later this year.
@@arkanamaster4961 mighty morphin was the best one
Reduce morpher was different in us where it was mirror with ranger flashing where image shown in your video was the Japanese version
I honestly really like the jungle fury morpher. It was a good idea for kids who’s parents couldn’t afford to get them a morpher toy to still be able to imagine they were a power ranger. Just grab a pair of sunglasses and let their imagination take control
Love it
man when i was younger i got the keys for super mega force but never got the actual morpher
Have you ever worked with Mr.WeenyProduction on a PR video?
Can you suggest a good place to buy the mmpr morpher in the uk. Struggling to find one for sale that doesn't require a small loan to buy.
I think you're gonna struggle to be honest, even the brand new master morpher barely got a release. Try after market things like ebay?
I would look to transformers to prove that expectations HAVEN'T changed
happy 100 th
Hey dude, you might find it interesting that the korean mobirates is the only version of the accurate Japanese mold that says the words "Power Ranger!" So technically it is the closest to a western super megaforce morpher with an accurate mold
Ooo love this
But doesn’t use the American team names
@@chaosenforcerdhm969 they have a couple such as ninja storm, dino thunder and spd and i believe zeo
@@arkanamaster4961 well I meant that not all like samurai is called blade force
@@chaosenforcerdhm969 yes
Awesome 😊
Did the Overdrive Morpher keep the blacklight feature from the Boukenger Morpher?
it did yes
@ArkanaMaster Well, that's one point to the Overdrive morpher if you ask me.
One Piece was reaching the end of Part 1 when Gokaiger was developed. So that's why. Fun fact: Doggie Kruger was the inspiration for the Pokemon Lucario.
I ALWAYS say it's such a waste they skip on the Gekiranger fist changer and chose some lame sunglasses instead even when I was watching it as a kid
I will die on the hill That Power Rangers Dino Charge and Dino supercharge have the best accessories and gimmick merchandise
Where would you have ranked the special ranger ones like titanium, magna defender, quantum, etc..?
Where did you get that wildforce morphers
No, they were just like that. The Japanese Abare Braces did stay open because that was the function to transform.
I cant even get chrono morpher in good condition under 100 bucks, it would be so easy to remake is just a single one for every ranger
used to be a power rangers fan, this brought back so much memories, did they ever make the white rangers one from super megaforce
Hmmm not sure. And same use to be a fan. Joined in on samurai. Meh. Megaforce:hell i say s tier(the villians so memorable, and awesome zords) after dino charge and seeing thst red ranger be on fing american ninja warrior.
Ince past ninja steel. Like after ep1. "'I'm done" went to netflix and watched megaforce instead
