I love the thumbnail in the snow. I still believe that the Master Morpher was severely underproduced in number and there was no way they could have ever met the huge demand when Hasbro was about to give up on the franchise. It’s a shame if you want it now you’ll have to pay the price of a new next gen console. Regardless, this is the definitive Tommy Oliver product/experience!

Kinda agree with you on that one. That Grand Zi-O Ridewatch is just sick. But, even the best plastic quality or the use of diecast could become a lost cause if the paint apps aren't on point. (Example: Bandai America's Overdrive Tracker from 2007's Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. Not as feature rich as the Accellular from 2006's Gogo Sentai Boukenger, but still a relatively robust toy with its own announcer that's not even used in Operation Overdrive. BUT...that silver paint used was absolute trash tier quality and was worn away pretty badly from my unit in less than a week.)
Master morpher sad last JDF product. Bandai should have released one before Hasbro rook over. Many fans made DIY Master morpher with the legacy morpher. I got it since I’ve never had a morpher Tommy’s since I was a kid. Since legacy is too expensive.
Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to get it was sold out immediately when I try to pre order. I was too busy at work to get it and of course I’m not supposed to be on my phone. Now is over priced on the internet like 300 dollars.
While I didn’t get it when it was on Hasbro Pulse, I was lucky enough to win one off an eBay auction for $168. My most expensive purchase for a power rangers item but nowhere near as expensive as it could be. I regret never meeting JDF before his passing so this morpher is my way of paying homage to him. I feel like losing him in a way meant the end of the franchise as it hasn’t continued since his passing. I do hope power rangers continues on because I know JDF would not want it to end just because he’s gone.
When folks say “this ruined my childhood”, this kinda was that moment for me. I grew up with power rangers, and when I woke up to find out he passed away, a big chunk of my childhood ended that day.
I was gutted I couldn’t get it from hasbro UK, like you said the EU wouldn’t cross shipping. Fortunately my partners dad lives in the US so I took a gamble and ordered 2 to his address and it all went smooth 👌🏽 sold my second one to pay for my own but I kind of wish I kept it now! Eternally grateful from this, my childhood hero!
To be honest I'm surprised how poorly Hasbro handle to whole Master Morpher sale. It sold out very fast. It wasn't a limited edition. So it kind of sucks that Hasbro didn't try to take some more preorders as 1. it wasn't going to affect shipment as these were still being made, 2 they love money
It's Talos From secret Invasion BUT his neck was attached to his head so it isn't perfect ie the Tommy head doesn't clip on. I bet the retro Peter parker melancola mentions could work better.
@ It would be nice to know what civilian style figures from hasbro were lighting collection compatible but as far as I know that list has yet to be made by any ranger tuber. Thanks for the info though!

They should've put white light behind the tiger and falcon coins. Otherwise, it could've worked for all the rangers if they gave them coins instead of the dopey wrist changers.
If you have the plates open, the lights ARE white for those two coins but when closed their light doesn't reach the centre and the green backplate just looks green
I don’t think it needs to be a JDF exclusive thing. Any ranger who’s had multiple sets of powers could have one. At the very least, anyone with a Zeo crystal fragment.
I’m Pretty Sure that if they never Fired JDF he would have Definitely Stayed until the In Space Season. To help Close Out the Zordon Era. Also Probably take the place of TJ.

I parted with mine just a couple of weeks ago, and I can't say that I miss it. I like the idea behind the electronics, but I'm ultimately meh on the shape of Hasbro's Power Morpher. I didn't like a lot of Bandai's changes on the Legacy version, either, but Hasbro kept them and then added more! Their stab is just so awkwardly thick and genuinely uncomfortable to hold for me...

There are 2 bonus voice clips if you hold the morpher closed and hold the button down. They're one after the other.
