Im not a metalcore fan in the least, I tend to listen to progressive metal, however one has got to respect this kids talent

i mean... on isuues newest headspace album... the guitar was very prog and djenty... reminded of periphery in some bits.

dreaminginnoother fucking tight, i'm all about the fade to purple and then to black, i don't think i've ever seen a finish like that. rich people guitars are rad.
i can't stand when people call guitars 'versatile' though. total nonsense lol. people say it all the time but it stone cold doesn't mean anything rofl. pups can be versatile i guess, but the rest of it is almost entirely aesthetic beyond functioning as a guitar. you'd have to be one of those weird audiophiles that have the hearing of a bat and refuse to listen to music that isn't in the FLAC format to be able to perceive the impact that different woods and shit have on tone. the amount of money you dump into a guitar goes into quality electronics, construction quality, and brand/signature names beyond a certain point.
when i was in the market for a six string bass like ten years ago, the first thing i looked at was a signature model ESP for the bassist of DIR EN GREY because he's boss as fuck. as soon as i saw the price tag i'm like 'nah.' that shit was $5000, are you fucking kidding me? rofl

Listening to some of the wicked, djenty riffs on the latest album, I believe he is very underrated.

Yeah, I'm curious what the future of the band will be. The members left are all awesome musicians though, so I'm sure they will make some cool stuff!

I think it's so he can run a super long cable to connect the kemper footswitch to the kemper itself

He says it in the video. Try changing the playback seed to something slower if he's speaking a bit fast.

      G# D# G# C# F A#
      70-56-42-30-17-13
Think I should go down a gauge due to scale length
This is for his G# guitar.

According to all the reviews i found on youtube that guitar seems to be awesome for the price. I got PRS SE Paul allender right now and want to switch to Holcomb one cuz of scale length.

I hate watching gear rundowns where the guitarist doesn't even know much about his gear. Seymour Duncan 85/15's?? Come on man.
