Why are men obsessed with camera gear (and women not so much)?

Photo gear obsession is almost exclusively male. In this video I am trying to explain this phenomenon.

I’m a woman, and have noticed that I’m the only one who shows up for camera gear reviews :-)
One thing I’ve noticed is that I’m a bit of a tomboy and always have been, (although I love clothes and decorating!)

My great grandfather was a caveman and he used tools to hunt and capture animals to survive so now I use a more sophistic tool (the camera) to capture images. Where as women catch men with their beauty, no need for a camera. We just use different tools.
