@@TrailExpeditionevery snow storm so far has passed either to the north, or south of us. We have nowhere to play where there’s powder that’s a true day trip. 😢
props to the trail hunter owner for taking it out in those conditions. Love seeing people with brand new stuff using it for what it was engineered for.
Ah sorry man. How is the wheeling in Wisconsin? Honestly, lower Michigan doesn’t offer much. What you saw in this video is probably as extreme as it goes outside of an off-road park.
Greetings from the province of Pontassieve in Florence, Italy, I see that many 4x4 off-road vehicles in this place are not equipped with specific mud tires, it seems to me that they have All Terrain tires that are not good on these dirt roads with presence of mud?
Great observation! We live in Michigan where it snows quite often. Many of these guys are out on this trail in their daily driver vehicle and that is what my Gladiator is to me. Mud tires are terrible in the snow so a good all terrain is what a lot of us run. However, my Jeep Wrangler has mud tires as it is not my daily and built more for mud and rock crawling.
When did you guys go through? We hit it at the very end of the day around 1600 hours. From there we exited the trail system and headed to AJs. For Michigan, it’s one of the harder sections of trail.
During the drone shot going up the notch... It's kinda funny how it follows.. it's like... Following... then PANIC... then follows... but never really keeps you in what I'd call "direct frame"
@TrailExpedition right now the truck is pretty much stock....but after our road trip in March I'll be doing a 3in lift and 33s. Truck already has a rear locker, just needs the clearance!
In Italy, in the province of Florence, I have a small Suzuki Jimny 4x4 all original with a 1.3 LT gasoline engine m13a from 2001 that I use to go to the countryside and mountains on dirt roads and forests and I use it to tackle muddy terrain. On roads I use a set of retreaded tires from the Ziarelli brand, model Mud Power m + s 205-70-15 and then I have a set of Hankook. Dynapro. atf RF 10 m + s all-terrain tires in original size 205-70-15
Great to see so many models out there. Awesome video.
Thanks! All kinds of different makes and models on this trail run!
That was a fun day! We actually went back out there yesterday and explored the trials a little more.
Nice! I was thinking about doing the same eventually.
@@TrailExpedition let us know when you head out we may be down to come do some wheeling.
Was an awesome day! Great video as always.
Thank you! And yes, it was a lot of fun! The snow made it even better!
Weather looked perfect for an adventure! I’m jealous lol
I was hoping we would get dumped on with snow and I got my wish. Really started picking up toward the end of the day.

@ right! I would love to do an overlanding/camping trip in some DEEP powder.
@ same. that’s at the top of my to-do list!
@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson just keep driving North. We’ll eventually find it 😆
Poker run, looks like a lot of fun! Those above head drone shots are amazing.
Thanks! It was a lot of fun! I try to integrate different shots from the drones and on the ground. Keeps it interesting.
Love seeing everyone getting out there for sure I know the owner of that new Toyota trailhunter he is part of my group
Nice! Yeah, it was a lot of fun! The Trail Hunter is a good looking rig so I had to give him the thumbnail.
Jorel is cheating on MST??? Imma go find him
🤣

Absolutely! It’s a good looking truck!
Looks like a fun time. Bummed to have missed it!
Next time, my friend!
Good stuff man!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome video! Love it!
Thanks! Great event with a good group of people!
Awesome drone, Awesome Jeep
Thanks! That little drone impresses the hell out of me !
That's funny!!
Very awesome^_^
It was a fun trail!
What radio mount is that? Cool video. Thanks
That is a bullet point mount. They make great products!
I wish I knew about this. I’m over in Wisconsin with nowhere to wheel and no one to wheel with hahaha.

I wish I had someone take video of me doing that hill. I went dead last after everyone else went and it was so deep, I was on my side dang near
I bet! I was one of the last ones up as well and the ruts were deep!
its amazing how much worse the the off camber stuff was when we came through compared to the video lol

@@TrailExpedition we went through around 1630-1700 Mark ended up debeading his driver tire thats why we were so late getting to AJs
@BotchesOffroad wow! What was he aired down to? We must have just missed you guys.
@@TrailExpedition this man decided that 10PSI was a good idea lol
@BotchesOffroad LOL! I laugh but I’ve also been there. I don’t go much lower than 15 on non beadlocks these days.

Yeah, it’s not perfect. But for what it was trying to navigate through, I think it did fine.
Where exactly is this in relation to Hillman? Im in michigan and would love to take my Frontier Pro-4X down these trails
It’s in Evart Michigan so about 2.5 hours Southwest from you.
@TrailExpedition not bad. Gotta get an early start on the day so there's time for a fun trail ride!
@TrailExpedition right now the truck is pretty much stock....but after our road trip in March I'll be doing a 3in lift and 33s. Truck already has a rear locker, just needs the clearance!
@D41Michigan have fun and be safe!
You need more camera out the car
Nice ride 👌
I usually get more outside footage when I’m out solo but it’s harder with group rides. I take what I can get.
Don't worry.. I'll have the clip of you sideways in my video. LOL.
Haha! That was funny. I included the drones shots of it in mine.

Very cool! We don’t have the Jimny here in the states but I’ve seen videos of them and they are very capable little rigs!
