Once you get resto loop going, first thing to do is enchant is one piece of gear to raise your alchemy skill so you won't have to do the loop again. I usually do bracers, although ring could be ok. Resto potions are great for other bonuses too. One example is if you drink fortify restoration before equipping an Amulet of Talos, you'll eliminate the cooldown on shouts (lasts until unequipped). You can also permanently increase your carry weight limit by drinking fortify restoration before choosing the Deep Pockets perk of Pickpocketing. And my favorite: get the Aetherial Crown, and put the bonus from the Atronach Stone onto it (+50% Magic Absorb). Then, unequip it. Now, if you drink one of your high level Fortify Restoration potions and equip the Aetherial Crown, you get 100% Magic Absorb (it's actually over 100%, but effectively you get no benefit from the number going higher). ALL negative effects which can be used against you actually count as magic... meaning you're now immune to Shouts, Disease, etc. Bear in mind, you can't cast summons or heal yourself... and THAT is why it's great to have it on the Aetherial Crown rather than just having the Atronach Stone bonus on your character! Just remove it when you want/need to.

I know you are trying to make this - simpler/easier, however I've gotten many hard to find enchantments much faster in Winterhold than at Dawnstar. Just checking the Khajit Caravan's inventory then beating/killing her , you may miss out on the Alchemy item. You see, additional items appear in the hidden chest in Dawnstar - items not listed in her inventory! Even running to the chest after looking in her inventory, I've spent an hour and not found an Alchemy item. While at Birna's Oddments, I usually find the Alchemy item so much sooner. Just an FYi. Also, I have done the Alchemy potion exploit as low as 9th level. No clue as to why others can't. If you aren't getting higher than 117% you've done something wrong, i.e. forgot to remove/place back an item, OR you were not fast enough.

Sounds like you weren't unequipping the your +alchemy items after drinking the potion. Unequip them all, then reequip them. Although I usually remove them before drinking the potion: makes it easier to remember to do it.

Not sure whats going on, but when i do this I can get a smithing potion super high but when i do the same steps for a fortify enchanting potion the max I can get it is like 46%? For context m alchemy is around level 40 with 3/5 alchemist perk, enchanting is around level 60 with 3/5 enchanter perk, and my smithing is 100
Can anybody give me advice I've got the anniversary edition and I'm having an issue where I'm doing this glitch and my stats on my ring has went from going all the way up to back to its base or to what it would have actually been
I have watched seven videos on this, I've followed along perfectly, it still isn't working, I have got the anniversary upgrade on, does that change it? its genuinely gotten aggravating at this point.
If this legit works on PC then I don't even need the wax or stone flower petals to make my characters literally God like
I've seen so many videos of this and they are all the same and I can NEVER seem to get it to work. I am playing legendary survival and my alchemy is already 100 and I am level 106. Any idea why it's not working?
Please update the title to let ppl know there’s a level requirement in the skill
i have played skyrim for years without ever trying this. buts its time lol after 7248274 hours might as well break the game to high hell 🤣 ty for simplifying.
You say to go back into the alchemy lab but your character goes into inventory. Which is it? This makes no sense people. Am I just stupid?
ok so it doesn't work if you have too low alchemy level for me it started working at level 50 but before that it doesn't go above a certain number
Probably
You have the benefactor one right?
It does not work tried it and when i left dragonreach it went back to its original value
my current save uses the Skyrim unofficial patch which is blocking it so do I just have to bite the bullet and disable it and all the mods that depend on it?
there's a patch to the patch that "fixes" it. Mod 4391 on nexus!
special edition, idk about le
Yea
For some reason this time whatever items I had with me got stat boost as well like what ever I put on gets a huge bonus never seen that before but also if I turn vampire lord the stat boost goes normalish when I turn back
does anyone know if the Unofficial patch mod stops this from working?
Yes, they patched it.
Worked great on my profile even though my alchemy was only at 30 but tried it on another profile with 45 alchemy and the alchemy enchantment on the 4 pieces will go from 11% to 19% then just stall or start going down no matter how many times I keep trying it. Confusing because I just did it literally yesterday and worked fine
Sounds like you weren't unequipping the your +alchemy items after drinking the potion.
Unequip them all, then reequip them. Although I usually remove them before drinking the potion: makes it easier to remember to do it.
Did it work? I'm struggling with the gear resetting to lower levels
Has to be 4 pieces of gear. I had 3 and the numbers kept going back down. Also if you aren't unequipping them correctly, doing it quickly enough, or doing it in the correct order the numbers go down. Spent half an hour and reloading multiple time before noticing what was causing the problem -_- lol (Make sure you have the correct talents selected as well, not just high alchemy otherwise it won't work)
@@bebop2717 I got the unequip part, it was my speed mainly, too slow. And as you correctly stated my alchemy was too weak to begin with, level 40 with 4 items and the faster you go the better 👍 thanks for the reply
It isn’t working for me, it’s just capping out at 71%. Any help
It works so far with the restoration potions but for some reason when I make the enchanting potion it just doesnt work and Is only like a 62% increase in enchanting abilities lol
I'm having the same problem but it's stuck on 4%.
@@knees3708 u gotta grind for like level 80 enchantment. And then get the perks for them. I guess cus its considered an "enchantment potion"
@@rang4889 I got it thanks.
When I do that and the game is in a loading screen it does happen that after a few of them my weapons are „low on charge“ but I can’t refill them :/
Well your not supposed to enchant your weapons, after the loop, you are supposed to create a fortify enchanting potion that you use on clothing. Clothing does not need to be refilled
@@BalboaDean well I also have my hands enchanted with „one handed weapons do xxx% more damage“, but my ebony dagger just does the standard 17 damage
Swords, maces and axes are doing the high damage but daggers won’t
Idk it's probably a bug then
@@BalboaDean I looked around in the internet and it seems like daggers just aren’t affected by „one handed enchantments“
But as is upgraded it on the smithing stone I created a dagger whit a power from 245 xD
@@nicopinzel They are effected, but daggers just have very low base damage. They're meant for stealth builds where the damage is multiplied by many times.
where is khajiit?
It seems like for me, I can get crazy resto potions, but when I go to apply it to the fortify enchanting potion it's not as high as think it should be, and the potion only last 10 seconds really... I can select a soul gem and an item but not all three so it just ends up a worthless endeavor...
The fortify enchanting potion only lasts 30 seconds.
No Lollygagging!
Save time by clearing your inventory of anything you don't need, and don't learn enchantments you won't use.
That's what I had to do in the past. It's well worth doing it though.
Does this glitch break the game?
If you save, and have these insane percentage items, can it render that save useless?
Not the values themselves although you have to b careful about going so high you overflow into the negatives, and if you enchant a piece of armor with fortify health of a high enough value then you'll die instantly if you take it off.
So I've watched multiple videos on this now and don't know what I'm doing wrong. Alchemy is at 66 alchemist level 3 have benefactor making the potions taking off putting back on armor but nothing changes it always stays the exact same as the first potion.
Drink the potion and then take your armour off and put it back on
@@BalboaDean I am 😭😭 does the level of my enchanted armor have anything to do with it?
Is your armour enchanted with Fortify Alchemy
@@BalboaDean yee
Are you making a potion after drinking one and putting the armour off and on
I can't get it past 88%
Anyone know like the perfect ratio type thing cause my difficulty is on legendary and tbh I just wanna be able to have my character be godly but also still have a bit of a challenge on legendary difficulty but every time I've tried I end up making my character too powerful 😭
80 percent?
@@BalboaDean 80 percent ☠️
Ay that's a decent percentage
mine says 1% on fortify enchanting lol
Bro switch your battery in the smoke detector you bozo
Can I do this glitch on the original Xbox 360 version?
Yes.
Does this still currently work
Lol alchemy skill 100, speech skill 0 tho😅😂
this has been patched. i got over 1000% enchant strength and making a new fort.res. potion and drinking it (as well as reloading) sets the enchanted gear back down to 29%.
what do the cryodilic fish do?
It's one of the ingredients for a fortify restoration potion I used them and salt piles (easy to mass purchase) it's integral to the loop
What's the ingredients for fortify smithing
It should be snow berrys and blue butterfly wings
I'm stuck at 33%
Just beat her lol
Ok so I followed everything step by step I already had max enchantment going into this so I made myself some gear all having 25% fortify alchemy each and proceeded to follow the tutorial. It worked and I made some fortify smithing armour with the fortify enchanting god potion and then upgraded a tool to get max smithing but then after that the glitch won’t work anymore when I go to craft a res pot it says that it will only give a 4% increase I have max alchemy and the right gear and the proper ingredients. Any tips? Or have I messed up completely?
If you make the potion too strong, it will break the game and prevent you from going further tham like 10%
@@derpii5311 NOOOOO guess this is me paying the price for power
Does this still work in 2022?
It should
It might not on the new version though
2023 this doesn't work anymore, Sorry peeps
it still works
Possibly the worst tutorial for this glitch on UA-cam. Loads of criteria left out. 3/10
Sorry bro could redo it
@@BalboaDean he is a moron the guide is fine
@@BalboaDean as much as I love to take jabs at UA-camrs for their entitlement.
I have to agree the guy who wrote the comment has only two brain cells left and he doesnot feel like using them to even understand a simple glitch.
