Genuinely phenomenal. Absolutely beautiful work by all who worked on this creation. I've not been this into the game since I first played the dragonborn dlc on xbox 360 ❤
I can't say I know exactly what you're doing but you make it look easy and this looks sooooooo good! So, so much little detail! Love it! You're inspiring me to get off my ass and work on my model redesign!
I learned of this creation about a month ago and I’ve just been hyped ever since I’ve always wanted the original mjolnir and this armor just makes it look even more awesome you really out did yourself. Thank you for making my dreams of wielding mjolnir in Skyrim even more awesome with the armor. I hope this mod comes out soon, but no rush.
Awesome work man! I started creating a modlist for Skyrim a few months ago and I'm slowly learning how to use Creation Kit and I'm also a 3D character artist :)
That Stormherald Armor would go perfect with the Stormfang sword wielded by the Stormblade warrior of the Stormcloak army who uses the Storm Call shout and is accompanied into battle by the mage Anska Stormcaller.
@@theshoeburglar901 Come to think of it, this design would be perfect for an older battle hardened Odin in full armor for Ragnarok in a Norse Mythology book series I’m working on.
Don't know if there a mod that does this, but watching him do this brought an Idea of a mod that showed wear and tear on your armor over time, Immersion mod basically. Well done on the video though thank for showing this, was fun :D.
apparently the actual Thor of norse mythology will be in the mod/creation this is a part of. as a norse pagan i hope the writing around him will be good but after seeing the Mjolnir design i can already tell the writers probably arent going for a completely accurate representation. great work though, this armor is basically the only reason i remember the mod is being made and those textures are even better than i thought they would be when i first saw harry's model.
Do you have any advice, resources, or tutorials you can recommend for a 3D artist looking to start making assets for Skyrim? Also desperately need this as an in game armour set. The work you and Harry have done on this asset is phenomenal!
Absolutely gorgeous texture work! I gotta ask though, why not use an ID mask? It seems like a lot of the work here is just colouring within the lines, which could definitely be handled easier by an ID mask.
Can't say for certain how long Harry spent sculpting the armor but to texture it maybe took me around 20 years in total spread through 4 days. Probably would have shaved a couple hours off had I had ID masks to separate the different materials.

I can't say for certain as it still needs to pass Bethesda QA but I'll have it in review with their QA on the 25th so likely it'll release end of the month or early next month.

@@no-sleep believe me I wish it had ID masks but when the armour was sculpted almost all the detail was merged as one mesh due to most being sculpted as one piece in zbrush
Hey, if I may suggest something. How about doing something related to dragons? Your Dragonborn character is in a sense almost a god. But why don't you do something god related to them being Dragonborn like they become A god Dragonborn, god of all dragonborns or something. And they make their own cult and stuff. Hell even picking your own shrines looks would be awesome.
I think that's way beyond the scope of most modders lmao. Plus if you look at the UESP page for this creation you'll see markings on the hammer and shield written in dragon markings. Though I'm not sure if they actually mean anything. So I'd argue this is sort of related to dragons.
Paid mod for Creation Club or any chance it'll be released on Nexus as well? Armor looks phenomenal, and even cooler to have a quest/dungeon to go with it.
It'll be for Verified Creations. Not a fan publishing something for VC to then upload later for free it's a smack in the face to anyone that's bought it plus dungeon, new weapons, new abilities, VFX and new animations it's over a year of work gone into this.
Good God the amount of painstaking patience that requires

The stitching and chainmail.
