Honestly, this is much better than the MiG-15/17 in my opinion. Easy guns, better roll, acceleration better than most jets at its BR, three HUNDRED rounds of quick firing ammo. It really quickly became one of my favorite in game early jets which I never thought would happen, and its what I'm using to grind my way through the tree.
I’m gonna have to agree, I think the la-15 definitely performs better at its BR than the mig-15/17 does at their BR’s. That 9.0 area is really rough sometimes.
You should do a video on the Saab-105 (ether the g or ÖE) as they are amazing, high top speed (950 starts to get reduce speed warnings, it can go that in a straight line on the deck), high manoeuvrability (like butter around 600-700km/h), air spawn, missles at 8.3, gun pods from the viggen, 2 pilots, high survivability, you realy have to try to brake your wings, great multi role (bombs, rockets, guns, missles), ballistic computer (for guns, bombs and rockets). The only downside I can think of is that it has a high repair cost for players who don’t main/play Sweden a lot. (I might be a bit biased as I have almost 500 games in it) It is a true hidden gem in the Swedish tree
got a buddy of mine into this game recently he hates the tanks(he only has the reserve and 1.0 stuff atm) but he loves the planes but started getting bored of the grind so I finally convinced him to pick up the F5-C and he fucking loves jet combat in arcade lol, one day I'll get him to play more tanks.... one day
I have had a very good experience with the La-15 the most annoying thing that i find about it is the speed limit because in uptiers which are usual players just run from you and you can do nothing about it

This aircraft is very light, this means that it is good at zoom climbing, but it also means that it responds even worse to 50 cals than most jets. the saab is fast, but the faster it goes the worse it turns, saab comfortable speed is 550-700 when it comes to turning at really slow speeds it dumps energy and at high speeds it doesn't, its acceleration and roll rate is excellent. has a decent airbreak and the guns annihilate anything it touches all in all la should be able to out turn it in an extended turn fight but its risky since if you go slow enough it can slice and get guns on
Bro I went for the yak-30 instead of the la 15 and back then just the engine mod costed 78k rp and tier 1 mod is 48k. I played it a lot and got pretty good at it, now I'm pretty sure it's 8.7 instead of 8.0 like it used to be. Kinda regret it just a little bit but it's still a good plane and now I have the yak 38

I only watch UA-cam when you release one, I test drove it found it amazing but unfortunately I’m a broke 16 year old and can’t afford it, but in anyways your videos are very helpful to me and my monke gameplay on this game and are very interesting, I get to know more about the strength and weaknesses of different planes while still not having jets, still I love your videos so please continue doing them! They are interesting from start to end! 😄
I have the LA-174 and its also really good, and those swedes saab are usually low energy retention and german tank syndrome (low engine power for its weight)
I did it when I first started playing many years ago. it took awhile then, but I was also terrible at the game lol. Now with some patience and using efficient methods, it shouldn’t be toooo bad, but it will still be a long grind.
after buying a mig 17as premium for ussr i challenged myself to get to top tier on usa with no premium vehicles and so far after 100 hours im at 10.0 with the f104c while only spending 20 dollars on premium
I really want to see you try the F104A...I literally can't even get a 0.5K/D, with terrible missiles and for some reason I can't take snapshots...idk if that's a rudder issue, the only other plane that feels as weird to control is the F11-F1. They're both real quick but for some reason I can't get guns on target with both

Try the swift f7 and it's mouse guided missiles I have had so many 4-5 kill games in it even gotten a 6 kill game which is the only plane I have been able to do that in

Hard to say, I guess it depends on what you’re looking for. Lower tier USA I find more fun, but not because the planes are amazing, but mainly because the majority of the aircraft take some patience to play, and the kills you get feel super rewarding IMO, but if you just want planes that kind of shred, USSR is the way.

Its not due to one, simple, fact, your plane is gonna rip itself apart if you go above a really low speed for a jet
the mig 15 have faster acceleration faster climb rate the both have same fire rate and the mig 15 have faster speed
