Good god. Ive always been a believer in 'play what you like' but honestly its kind of baffling to see proof of how wide the disparity is between a good class and an even mediocre one is.
sometimes i wonder if the content creators realize that kanna has a FD bonus in a party for number of party members -- what is it like 25 fd? and that while its a good support (only because there are so few support classes) in a party, its personal performance and QOL are absolutely abysmal and the class is absolutely deserving of attention and buffs. good on you for making this detailed comparison
this is insane. is NW the best bossing class right now? In your opinion what are 3-5 classes that you think could come close to this if not beat it? I want to make a class and go for a clear like this but I'm not a big fan of the NW playstyle
sorry for the late reply! as far as half of the classes ive played in the game go, night walker is probably the best bossing class damage-wise right now. it also rates very high in survivability and mobility. other classes i would try a clear like this on: - mercedes = probably the 2nd best bossing class i have on my account, even compared to NL, DS, HY, Ark. to me mercedes feels like 1.1-1.2x damage of these classes not to mention freud's and insane mobility - hero = insanely good class, personally only solo'd hlotus and ctene on it a couple times so i cant compare gear:clear time ratio well - shadower and bucc = both solid
i can respect their content and the entertainment they put out for the community, and ill happily say im wrong if he can somehow cough up damage on his "12 star kanna" , but no way you're going to slander kanna mains for gaslighting the whole community and pretend that 7% -> 8% on mana overload even applies to half of kanna's skills

ied fams T-T sadly nw's base visual ied is low, currently at 87% visual w/ links and legion but no fams or 4 set gollux, but at least they get like 30%+ ied from mark of darkness
my wep has a +40% boss potential with +10% boss flame, secondary has +35% boss in addition to buffs such as red pot (20%), event buffs (30%+15%), house buff (+15%), additional +50% from legion, etc
@@TheKvideos huh? I was asking which skill specifically Nw benefit from, what is weird about it? I don’t even know if it affects hyper or 5th job skills. Most nw guides recommend other stuff over buff duration
it may or may not be optimal for nw but buff duration at minimum helps with all classes with increased ab link duration. it's been more popular after 6th job since lots of classes need more than 10-13s to get off their full burst

Honestly if 25% of Kanna’s damage wasn’t locked behind party play it would be in a pretty solid spot rn
