2000 years ago, Jesus Allowed His Father Alone to Take the daily decisions and in all steps of His Earthly 33 years journey.
At all times, people are faithful to allow their God Alone to take their daily, ongoing and intimate personal decisions in their lives. That is why people of the Religion of P̲r̲i̲d̲i̲a̲n̲i̲t̲y (also called Selfism) make sure their God alone takes all their Daily decisions and their God is “t̲h̲e̲y” themselves. Their clothing is pride. Their adornment is “ I THINK, I AM DOING WELL,”.
Why do people of Selfism believe so much in their temporal seemingly powerful god? God says The Reason is they are totally self-sufficient in their god. Should we agree with God? By the way, do you know your own religion? Is that Relevant question?
Lord Jesus addressed this Very Topic as the first line of His first Recorded sermon and in Defense of The One True Holy Religion.
- Blessed are those who are far apart from Selfism and those who are far apart from pride, which tastes sweet
- Blessed are those who are far apart from self-sufficiency, their own knowledge,
- Blessed are those who are far apart from depending on their own thoughts, and those who are far apart from depending on other people's thoughts,
- Blessed are those who are like a 1 year old clinging to Dear Parent for all their needs
- Blessed are those whose cries are always near The Living God for Present tense Help and Present tense Guidance and Present Tense Protection. For theirs will be The Father of Light; Who will give them Residence for countless years to come.
So how much does the religion of selfism cost? E̲t̲e̲r̲n̲a̲l̲ L̲o̲s̲s̲ is the answer.
At this moment of time, how much appeal to its followers will selfism have ? It gives a vain mirage
which says 'Y̲O̲U̲ ̲A̲R̲E̲ ̲A̲C̲T̲U̲A̲L̲L̲Y̲ ̲D̲O̲I̲N̲G̲ ̲V̲E̲R̲Y̲ ̲W̲E̲L̲L̲'. So those in its hook are feeling secure in its grasp.
So What is The Name of The Religion of Jesus? If this is The Only Way to Paradise, should we not boast about It? Well, The Name of God's True Religion is GETTING INTO GOD'S HANDS. Psalms 131:2 Describes this reality.
How may That happen? Let Lord Jesus Himself Explain It in Matthew 11.
- Come to Me, all, you people of selfism religion, who carry their heavy labor and burdens to their gods daily,
- Who in torment of temporal delight, love to own and control their days and the time and tomorrow's details of small and big things in their life, and you say : I am ok, I have prospered, I also know Theology and I don't need anything else.
- I̲ w̲o̲u̲l̲d̲ l̲i̲k̲e̲ t̲o̲ m̲a̲k̲e̲ a̲ c̲o̲v̲e̲n̲a̲n̲t̲ w̲i̲t̲h̲ yo̲u̲. ARE YOU READY? If you take My Burden, I will take your burden on myself.

- In My Yoke, You have to Daily Learn from Me. Apart from John 15:5, This Cannot happen. If you get into My covenant, I will be Faithful to the end. You will have to run daily to Me and Wait to Learn from My Yoke.
- My Yoke is Gentleness. My Yoke is Lowliness in Heart, Attitudes and Thoughts. My Yoke is Easy. My Burden is Light. My Burden Will purify you.
- Your yoke is heavy and ready to crush you. Your yoke is puffed with rugged sharp edges; which will soon tear you apart.
- Your yoke is always filled with torment; which you daily try to put up with; since, you haven't yet hated yourself or the world.
- Your burdens are surely cruel to you but you are fooled by the enemy deceptions that your burdens are OKAY and normal.
- I am waiting for people from Adamite Religion (Religion of self) to come and make The Holy Luke 14:26 Covenant .
- In The Bible, I only Made Covenants based on The Holy Blood, That I provide and Ordain. It is no different today.
- If Anyone Qualifies to come into My Covenant, I will Soak them in The Eternal Covenant of The Victory in The Blood of Jesus, This Blood, when Sprinkled in Holiness by Me, Will Speak My Life on The Covenant. Only Then, will you be Mine.
- Those who come into This Covenant Will be Sprinkled by My Blood Daily. Apart from this, the child has no protection.
- Those who delight Me in this Covenant Will be Defended by My Blood against the cruel master of the religion of selfism, who will try to come and tempt this child to run to the enemy camp, even if it is for one day, for temporary benefits.
After someone comes to God's Covenant, they become Bond Slaves of Jesus thus, they are ready for the journey of Psalm 23. They have made an eternal divorce with the master of self. Thus, God provides for them The Blood of Jesus for Daily Cleansing and Daily Sprinkling. In Verse 25,26, Lord is saying that This Gift is only for the Little Children since they won't again and again hurt Father God ,with the religion of self.

I guess the Pope and the Vatican have a long way to go to get forgiveness from God then lol.
Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation.
This means that saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.
The only sign I need is that Jesus said, "It is finished", on the cross.

Why would Jesus give the power of forgiveness to the Apostles if His forgiveness is done by simply believing by itself? Also, why (if believing is all we must do) does Christ say, "there will be those that say to Me 'Lord, Lord', but I will say to them 'depart from Me, for I never knew you'". These facts do not make sense on Sola Fide

They are saying to Him: "Lord, Lord, did we not do many marvelous works in your name?"
They were trusting in something they did rather than what Christ did.
It's complete idiocy to look to yourself at all when trying to be justified before God.
Our absolute only hope is Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, and what He is doing for us, received by faith.
If you try to add anything on top of the work of Christ, you are just insulting Him with your works which are like filthy rags.

"It is complete idiocy to look at yourself", I agree that we should not look only to ourselves, but this does not mean that works are outside of the equation, we can only do truly good works because of God's extended grace, though God extends His hand, He does not forcefully grab is and rip us from our chains, He breaks the chains so we may run toward Him, Jesus died that man may be restored, lest you believe Christ accomplished nothing on the cross.
Salvation is a process. scripture talks of having been saved, being in the process of salvation, and the prospect of being saved in the future, this process is a synergy of faith and works, you cannot have one without the other. A faithful work is nothing without a working faith.
What of not being justified by faith alone as the book of St. James says?
Does Jesus not say "For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother", should we not take His words into account? Should we seek to avoid doing works because they are an idiotic thing on the faith alone presupposition? On your purview the answer is yes, which is a truly idiotic answer.
Where do we see works of faith being disavowed? We only see faith without works as being "dead" and works without Faith being "filthy rags". How do we reconcile this? It is a faithful work and a working faith, that is how we escape this false dichotomy.
@colton7373 we must also eat of Christ's Body and Blood, as He says "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you shall have eaten the flesh of the Son of Man, and shall have drunk His blood, you do not have life in you"
Is this not a perfect example of a faithful work done within a working faith? One extended by God's mercy and taken into the believer, a perfect union of the faith of a man, his acceptance of a gift extended to him, and all this being done by the power of Gods grace?
