My mother who will be 88 this year, told me a story that happened after she gave her heart to the Lord Jesus in her 39th year of her life. Even after she was saved, she said she still struggled with smoking. She kept praying for Jesus to help her.
One night ,while in Bible study she ask the man who was leading the Bible study to pray for her about her smoking. She said the man held both of her hands in his and simply said, lord, Bless Rayma. She said that after that three word prayer that she felt a warmth come from his hands to hers, up her arms and into her body. From that moment she never desired another cigarette and never smoked again. To top it off she had a doctor's appointment later in her 40's and the doctor told her she had the veins of a 19 year old. Jesus just didn't deliver her, he cleaned her up as well. Glory to GOD

One night while I was asleep, I suddenly woke up and felt a dark presence near my bed. This presence grabbed my throat and started choking me. I yelled JESUS and this thing took off in a flash. There is power in the name of JESUS.

. In Daniel 10, Daniel receives a revelation that he doesn’t understand and begins seeking the Lord for understanding. He continues to prayer, but no answer comes. Finally, an angel appears to him. He says God answered your prayer on the day you prayed, but a spiritual battle has been raging in the for 21 days between the kingdom of darkness and the Lord’s holy angels. ( v13). We also need to pray persistently to get our prayers answered

Speaking of short prayers, once I was on a flight about two hours from landing at Jfk airport. The flight was on the way home from St. Lucea and there were so many turbulents that it was preventing the flight attendants from serving the snacks and drinks. The pilot stated that they had received information that we were going to have a bumpy ride all the way to NY. Just as the pilot made that statement, the plane hit a huge air pocket and dropped down so far that it made several people scream. My heart dropped at that point, and I yelled, "Jesus." As I called the name Jesus, in that instance, the turbulents instantly stopped. There were no more turbulents at all for the rest of the flight. What was amazing is that I didn't even get the full name of Jesus out of my mouth as the turbulents were instantly stopped, and we had a smooth flight all the way through after.

Before I was saved I was driving down a highway and lost control of my car. I was in the direct path of a head on collision with a tractor trailer. Less than 2-3 seconds from sure death. I cried out a short prayer….God save me! I literally passed through the truck and came out the other end. For the next two and a half hours I cried out “I believe in God!” Two and a half months later I was miraculously saved/born again. Short prayers work miraculously
Glad to have read your testimony. I had a similar experience but not sure if I was believed. My one word prayer was Jesus. I just remember the expression on the other drivers face and my 4 year old son's. It was an amazing miracle event in my life. (Just Jesus!)

I remember back in 2009, I was really struggling with homelessness and my salvation. My friend had told me about City of Refuge Church in San Antonio, TX where I was living. He told me that they give everyone a prophetic word the first time you visit. The night before I went to check them out, I hit rock bottom, and started crying out to God in prayer. It was a very short prayer..... I said "Father, please let this be a test! Please take me to the next level! In Jesus name!", and I cried myself to sleep. The next night was the church's Wednesday night Bible study, and I went to check them out. Pastor Sherry Gunkle took immediate interest in me, and welcomed me. After praise and worship, she had me stand up, and they handed me a mic. She said "Sir, I have a word for you. The Lord wants me to tell you that He is very pleased with you. He keeps saying that He's very pleased with you. And He wants me to tell you that you've passed the test, and He's taking you to the next level, but to remember that with new levels come new devils." And then she said "How was that?" And all I could say was "It's really hot in here...." And the congregation just started laughing. The Holy Spirit spoke directly through Pastor Sherry, and gave me a literal word for word answer to my prayer that night! BLOWN AWAY!!!! I will NEVER forget that lesson!!! Thank you for your faithfulness, Pastor Sherry! And thank You for loving me, Abba! Less than a week after that, I met the woman of God I would marry, and we now have three daughters together. Jesus has blessed me far and above anything that I ever deserved!!!!

A 3 words prayer was enough for me one time when I saw the lights of a police car behind mine for over the limit speed. I said "Jesus, help me. " I stopped, the officer parked behind me and a few moments later, he did a U-turn and left. Glory be to Him who hears even a three word prayer!

The Holy Spirit woke me up tonight and this was playing on UA-cam. Coincidence? No way! The power of a short prayer is exactly what I needed this night. Habakkuk 3 is exactly what I needed. I was wondering where her soul was going after her last breath, but l kept committing her into God's hands....after some time while doing my rounds, l just stopped in the middle of ward and raised up hands and l prayed with a loud voice that God should receive her soul in glory and grant her eternal rest(reminding Jesus, the prayer of my brother on who said to Jesus...remember me when you come into your glory on the cross)...after watching this message on short prayer ohhh, l now know that God sent me to that ward for this patient .Glory be God !!!!. This message is like voice of the Holy Spirit assuring me that Yes ,l was sent to pray for this patient and YES she's now resting in the arms of Jesus. May God richly bless you pastor. 🙏

Really strange how he preached different messages and even how he spoke about God knowing who was attending. I attended the 9am service online late ... And the stream cutoff just as he was starting his message. So I waited for the final sermon to be uploaded and it's a different one. It seems I was meant to hear the 11am 😅

First time I watched you preach. You really have your heart into this. So I’m not gonna ask for prayers for anything. My mother was cured of heart problems. A prayer. My fathers leukemia disappeared. A prayer. My wife, one night I woke up she was cold. Drawn up into a Halloween disfigurement. Not breathing. Got up. Put my fingertips under hers. Prayed for I don’t know how long for her to come back. I thought she was dead. Sometime later She loosened up, started breathing again, warmed up. Got up and tried to walk. The only prayer I prayed was that she would come back from the dead and Jesus of Nazareth name. Later that week I had a customer with a heart shoulder. We prayed for his shoulder and he left. he came back the next day to tell me that it was perfectly fine. I had a broke back for years. Healed in one prayer and Jesus of Nazareth name. My doctor said if he didn’t know better I had a total back transplant that it wasn’t even my back. Only the mighty name of Jesus of Nazareth can do this. So I need no prayers at the moment. Just want to see my thanks to my God in heaven in Center Jesus of Nazareth that we are all healed. Amen

I remember one day I used to drive Toyota Land cruiser in the dual carriage way of which both side there was other vehicles as I was approaching roundabout there was vehicles going around unfortunately breaks gone, tried to apply many times but nothing happened, that's what I started praying oh my God , please help me out there is nothing I can do but only you can help me. I know you love me Jehovah. That's how I managed to go around without hitting to any car and I tried to apply breaks, they worked 😭😭 Honestly speaking Jehovah listens to our prayers. Praying fir my close friend Tiesje Manuhutu. She is on Dilyisis twice a week. She has osteoporosis. Brittle bones. Pain the whole day. She will be 81 this month. Have been praying for her for the past year. She can't sleep at nite but God answered our prayers, she could sleep better now but still severe pain. She cannot walk. Her son has to carry her to the wheel chair. She will have MRI on the 24th this August. I believe and receive in Jesus' mighty name total healing. Thank you for praying for her too. Amen.
