- DrDisrespect was banned from Twitch, and we may finally know why!
On June 25th 2020, while at the peak of his powers, DrDisrespect was permanently banned from Twitch.
Since then, despite lawsuits, investigations and more, no answer as to why has come forward.
That was until June 22nd this year, when a former Twitch employee stated on X that “He was banned because he got caught sexting a minor”. A huge allegation.
When the internet took this as pointing at Doc, he responded. “No wrongdoing was acknowledged and they paid out the whole contract”. The internet noted this wasn’t a denial and the backlash was intense.
Many other influencers reactions have been mixed. With the overwhelming opinion being:

Sexting a minor is a flat out lie, Doc just tweeted and said yes he talked to a minor but the messages were reviewed and were deemed not sexual or illegal in nature...I'd sue the shit outta that guy that started this. On 3 occasions he has done this to sell tickets to his band's shows.

A pEdOpHiLe is someone that diddles children, this minor was 17, is it creepy and weird yes, does Doc have a problem with monogamy yes, but he is not a pEdOpHiLe.
