Welp...it's stunning isn't it? Having said that, I hate when builders load model homes up like this. It gives the buyer a false sense of what they can do in their home after closing. I worked for a luxury homebuilder in Denver, so I am familiar with what the builder can be expected to pay for a house like this on interior design. The budget for the interior design in this house I'm sure easily surpasses $100k. The drapes..(throughout the entire home) $25k, The lighting..(because NONE of this lighting came from Home Depot) $30k...with $10k going for the stairway chandelier alone, Those full wall details in the master bedroom and fireplace? $5k. I'm not even going to discuss that Master bathroom, but those mirrored subway tiles surrounding that bathtub, and those hexagonal floor tiles are a dead giveaway to how much was spent in just that space alone. That gorgeous handrail on the stairs? $10k. That kitchen? Easily $40k. The houses we built were gorgeous, but the models didn't show like this model does. Remember that ELLE said the price for this house was in the $400k range...when was the last time you saw a $400k house looking like this? Add $100/$150,000 to get that same house...which I assure you does NOT look that the model looks, to look like the model.
