  • Have you ever wondered what sales resistance techniques top 1% sellers use to prevent objections and lower resistance?
When I was in my 20's, selling door-to-door, what I started noticing is that the more I looked and acted and talked like a salesperson...
The more resistance I was getting from the prospect.
That's when I started thinking "How do I reduce that resistance?"
When I finally figured out the perfect formula for eliminating resistance...
Instead of like triggering sales resistance, like most sales people do in the first
10 seconds, I began to trigger curiosity.
Just with this technique alone, I was able to lower sales resistance by 80-90%.

Can you make a video about perception . I'm a cancer survivor turned life insurance agent. How do I get people that have known me my whole life to actually listen to my message when they already have an image of me in there head. And i know for a fact they need life insurance they just don't want to deal with it (because sales)

It’s possible they don’t want to deal with it bc life insurance makes them face their own mortality.

Is the same thing in relationship, If you’ve a partner you’ll be chased and if you’re single and needy you’ll hardly find someone

It's more nuanced than that. Many people's 'first impressions' aren't purely objective. The brain is a pattern-matching machine. If their impression of you matches any of their stereotypes, then they don't actually see you for who you are. You get dumped into the 'salesperson' bucket and from then on, they've *pre-judged* you, and the interaction unfolds, as he mentioned, from a place of _prejudice_ and rapid-fire objections. It's their defense mechanism... it's subconscious... and though it can be helpful in some situations, it can also be harmful in other situations.
So, assume that you really do have something that will make the prospect's life better in a way that matters to them. Also assume that many people go through life heavily reliant on these subconscious processes that they don't actually realize, let alone understand. Now, the challenge is this: how do you overcome the subconscious processes -- the _defense mechanisms_ -- that almost certainly will interfere with the prospect getting the benefit of what's being presented/offered?
Unfortunately, the only way to do that is to recognize what those processes are, and to find creative ways around them. This in itself isn't unethical. What can be unethical is the way that a salesperson decides to leverage this creative going-around such processes. So, ultimately, it isn't the technique that's 'bad', rather it's the person's motive when they use such a technique on others.
When you over-simplify the matter as 'completely deceiving' someone, you miss the subtleties of what's actually happening. Guns aren't good or bad, but the people who use them can be either... drugs aren't good or bad, but they can be used sensibly or stupidly... the law isn't good or bad, but it can be manipulated in a courtroom to achieve justice or to allow bad people to evade being brought to justice, etc.
