Had CVT on a maxi scooter. After a while, it becomes snatchy at low speed making it hard to control at low speed.
IVT sounds awesome. Can you adjust the cadence you want to keep I wonder.

Unfortunately, ICE suspension system utilizing elastomers is not a good option, they need to change over to gas shocks.
Have redshift elastomer seatpost suspension on an endurance bike , it is great. You are not aware of it moving , but bumps are alot less harsh.
